Hard to rate on this occasion .The fish was fantastic, good size for regular fish and cooked to perfection. The service by the young man, wonderful and polite, even offered me a xmas sweet on the counter. The portions really good for normal fish and chips. By far the best Chippy in Leeds! The fish is always so fresh & perfectly cooked every time plus there are plenty of things on the menu to choose from. We've stopped going to other Chippy's now & only ever come here. Lovely service too!

Hartleys has been our go to fish and chip shop for a long time now, always had delcious food from here, however today I bought 2 fish cake butties, and I'm not sure if they've changed their recipe, but the potato was full of black pepper, massively over powering any other flavour. Hoping it's a one off!
