“We visited the Aarti Indian restaurant recently which was recommended by our daughter who came with us. We found the food delicious and the service superb. For starters we had the popadoms and dips. These came as small coloured popadoms, quite unusual and very tasty. For mains we had the chicken Tahli and our daughter had the vegetable option. It was presented as a traditional tahli and came in a metal dish with individual compartments containing the different tastes and flavours. So I recommend that you take a visit to this little gem of a restaurant serving authentic Indian street food, you will not be disappointed.”

“What a find! The tastiest treat for some weary travellers- a tiny restaurant with a magical chef. When we arrived there was a family enjoying a meal, the youngest of whom was eating a pizza from next door, a couple of students and people arranging a booking for their christmas party. My husband and I wanted to taste the whole menu but sadly our eyes were bigger than our bellies especially where the mega naan was concerned! Nawaz would be our new favourite curry house if it wasn't 3hours from home!”

“Staying locally we booked an early evening meal. What a find! A very attractive restaurant with charming staff and a welcoming ambience. The food was fantastic. Tasty prawn and squid starters and three different lamb curries with rice and sweet naan. The flavours were intense and fragrant and the food was piping hot and attractively served. A wonderful meal and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!”

All my the dishes were well spiced and all tasted different which I always feel is the key factor of a good curry house. The staff were really welcome to my ten year old and made him a lamb curry which he really enjoyed and was begging to come back to voujon again. Very reasonably priced too”
