I haven't been to La Cafetiere Leeds for many years, but I went two weeks ago with my wife. This restaurant - cafe is an icon of the Hyde park corner in Leeds.They have moderate prices. Excellent food. Freshly made in an open kitchen (if you sit close you get the nice food smells and sound of cooking). Bathroom is downstairs, no disabled bathroom, but wheelchair access is possible to the dining area. Can pay by card or cash. They have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. The best part was eating. I was sad to leave the beautiful atmosphere after we finished .I wanted to try their buzzing Turkish breakfast as in the picture, my wife chose their famous Falafel Wrap with chips (which is cheaper than the Falafel dish and equally fulfilling if you don't want the salad). I was hungry ?, so we also ordered the Triple Platter with the delicious Halab Kubba with its delicious filling, crunchy fatoush salad and the Aubergine ?? dip - Baba ganuj!.It did not take them long to get the food for us, all came together. My pictures ??? tell the story and the taste was amazing. We ate as much as we could, and took with us half the Falafel Wrap for another day. I noticed that the Turkish breakfast was too dry, but the taste was still great. Unfortunately the waitress forgot to get us the tea with the food as I asked, but she was really fast to bring it over once I reminded her of that. Excellent service and very courteous staff. I was glad to leave some tip, which I think was little for the care we get.We paid £38 for all the food and drinks which is certainly not cheap, but moderate price. Ithink it is fair for the variety, the amount and the taste of the freshly made food.I will certainly try to go to La Cafetiere again, probably popping in when there is a discount. I have seen some discounts on their Instagram page especially in the afternoons and for students. I don't think these are daily. Lovely ambience. Place smelled and looked great. The waitress was super sweet and they gave me complimentary baklava which was delicious. The panani bread was great as well!

Giving a two is very generous, this is only because the hostess at the till was polite and friendly. The food was horrible. Egg is not cooked yet burnt on the edges and the sausages were not cooked from the centre. Will not be visiting

I am not sure where the negative reviewer went but it certainly was not here. Took cards, food was delicious and very fresh. Nothing frozen and cooked to order. Everything we had was delicious and full of flavour. Service was very friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Will be back next time I'm in Leeds.
