Food not bad. However, twice I’ve walked up there to buy fish and chips and it’s been closed even though times on door and online say it should be open. So annoying, will go elsewhere in future instead of wasting my

Chips were fab, can't eat too much generally, but they were more than enough to satisfy. Husband had fish butty and loved that, the curry sauce was a different flavour than we're used to, but it was delicious, so much so, that my husband got another serving and some chips with it. Would definitely recommend

Probably the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten ?? I think it’s under new management, they need to improve or it won’t last long ….Should have listened to the reviews ……

Friendly staff the woman who served me was called Maddy, food was very good quality I had the battered sausage and chips the curry sauce is nice, staff are really chatty and would definitely come again, the price for food was reasonable and cheap but also good quality for what I got.

Delightful takeaway on main shopping street. Has several small tables inside and a couple outside for customers to use.A pensioner's value meal (fish, chips and peas) cost less than £5 and was plentiful and delicious. The ladies running the place on my visit were friendly, chatty and helpful.Parking: No parking at the shop but plenty of free parks around Morley centre.

Louise showed me the fish fillet she was going to cook fresh, the reason being to show a jockey fillet wasn’t being used. The cooking medium is beef dripping, which makes for the best tasting fish and chips. The chips are fresh not frozen and all was cooked to perfection.Excellent all round. If you have any questions, Louise is happy to answer them.

Worst fish and chips I've had in years.£8:50 they should have been wearing stripey jumpers and masks . Apart from the chips being black they were hard/raw in the middle. The fished was curled up so much they couldn't close the box! Gave them a chance as new owners but won't be going back ?

Nice little chippy ideally situated in the pedestrian precinct. On nicer days they have outdoor seating in addition to seats inside. Friendly staff and good chunky chips.

The shop is under new management after the previous owner sadly passed away. I ordered a chip buttie with curry on. What can I say, the portion size was big, the curry was the one without the raisins and the chips were proper freshly cooked thick chips. Every one was thick and hot. I will definitely be going back as the staff were friendly and not miserable, the food was great and the price was £3.20. well worth it.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps so good for wheelchair access.

The signs were there. "Under new management " some while now since I did a review on Trip Advisor and normally I would make allowances for a new venture. However, £7.50 for Haddock and chips was served promptly but tomato sauce was brought to the table in a squashed bottle with less than a spoonful in it. I unscrewed the cap and gave it up . Half way through the meal I had to push it aside and turning to the server I said that I couldn't finish it. Wishing to be discreet I said quietly that there was a hair in the fish, not 1 but 4. I made to leave fully expecting at the very least an apology but no, the server continued her conversation with someone who'd seemingly just popped in, so I left .

Was going to get lunch here today but was put off by a member of staff, in her chef's whites, smoking at the front door. Certainly put me off. I'm going to Apollo around the corner

This shop has changed hands 4 weeks ago. Fantastic fish cake butty and chips today for lunch with hubby. Proper fish cake made with 2 slices of potato and lots of lovely fish inside. Well worth the calories. Usually I’m disappointed when I fancy fish & chips, this time they were delicious.
