I was struggling a little this morning while pumping up my tyres. Darren came out from behind the counter and asked if I needed help or could he pump the tyres up for me. What a kind helpful man, he made my day!

Been here quite a few times and I’ve been disappointed more than I should beThey seem to run out of Shell Petrol V-Power too often

Not even one star!!! When I tried to use my shell card , the man behind the till said give me your phone please, then he tried to give his station rate 5 star by my shell account to himself, which I never seen in my life ..?

Shocking service my the woman behind the counter, labelling wrong on meal deals, yet refused to give me the discount that was advertised on combo meals. Just before me she had already short changed a customerStay away from this store at all costs. Would have given zero stars if I could. Rude staff, and badly run

The service is good and u can always ask for help. However I used to like it when there was an employee who would ask u if u needed help in taking on board the petrol. I suffer from osteo arthritis and sometimes I can't make my fingers move. His help was invaluable.

Just your usual, run-of-the-mill petrol station, you get exactly what you expect - nothing more, nothing less. Which is great, because I don't want a sing and dance when I'm fueling up. Clean, safe environment, decent staff and usually well stocked.

The forecourt is always clean and tidy, the entrance and exit for covid restrictions is clearly marked upon entry and the staff are always pleasant, there can be really busy periods but the staff manage to keep a good pace to get customers through.

IN-DEPTH CARWASH REVIEWFirst Impressions/Design:The structure is composed of clay brick with a drag wire surface and a yellow/red banner going along the North, South and West sides of the building with the larger yellow band being above the smaller red band and the West side also having a signature Shell Car Wash sign with a white background and red writing which is what customers will see when they arrive. The North side exit comprises the one end of the supporting drag wire surfaced wall on the left side with a view onto Thornhill Road whilst the right side is one of two supporting corners made of the same clay venere. The East Side is a supporting wall backing onto Thornhill Road with no Shell branded features as this is not a prioritised side with it just being a supporting wall. The South side entrance features the same yellow/red banner in the same order as before and the second of the 2 supporting corners this time on the left side. The right side has the same supporting wall this time connecting up with the Petrol Stations Southern boundary wall, this consequently carries no luxuries even excluding a view onto Thornhill Road. The West side has the same yellow/red band with the focal point being the placement Shell Car Wash sign. This side is also different to all other sides as it has a thin plastic board between both the North and the South sides supporting corners.Car Wash: The Car Wash features a single Wash Tec gantry system it is an older model that is no longer manufactured and does the job but is outdated compared to the options and functions of Wash Tecs newer range. Upon the gantry system going over my car the rubber rollers seemed dirty/old and could do with replacing, the Super Wash program didn't seem to last as long washing the car as other top end programs from other car washes do and it was also 25% discounted from £8 to £6 come to whatever conclusion you will with the price being reduced whether it is a 25% discount for all Shells forecourts or just this one with an older outdated model that can't compete. When my car was dried with the over head drier it was under powered and did a poor job of expelling the micro particles of water from the surface of my car.Overall Conclusion:The gantry system of the car wash is Old, outdated and needs to be invested in to be competitive with other car washes in the area. The only competitive part of it was the price but who knows even how long that will last.

This is one of the best shell stations for many miles around. It is always clean, the staff are friendly and pleasant, and go out of there way to be helpfull. And shell fuel is great.

Man behind the glass told me I have nice eyes but they had no munchies and The forecourt is a bit claustrophobic if you know what I mean

I always use shell! This one in particular is really good, to be honest Shells provide a great customer service, they have public toilets which they never refuse.
