I visit here quite often with my friends and it’s always a mess on the tables. They prioritise the drive thru over the customers in the store. Always slow at serving at the tills and never ‘thanks for waiting’ or a polite tone. Its cold in the actual place as if they don’t turn the heating on and they’re always chatting to each other

I come here alot and spend a fortune on coffee as I like it as somewhere to go late at night. Im asking myself why as the majority of the staff do not seem like they want to serve you. Only one was friendly and made me feel truly welcome, though she said she was leaving for University. Even the manager, the short bearded bald one blanks me, no acknowledgement whatsoever despite me trying to start up a conversation. Frequently the tables are left cluttered. I sit in there for long periods and there is never any attempt made to clear them or a request to do so by whoever is in charge. Called in tonight and the floor is disgusting. Had to clear my own table which was chock full of empty cups, plastic and wrappers. The noise from the music is too loud though not as much as the Snowhill and one, which I also frequent. Nit the first time I've had cause to complain about this place

I get coffee from here most mornings after attending the gym. The staff (Kristina, Katie, Helen, Mia, Corrina & Leanne) are always very welcoming and will chat while preparing the (expertly made) drinks. Whether sitting in or taking away, visiting Starbucks at the Village Hotel is always a pleasurable experience.

I asked for a cappuccino twice, and she said she couldn’t understand. When I asked the third time, she brought me some cream in a cup. When I asked again for a cappuccino drink she said ‘ah, capp- u- ccino’ and made a big deal of the pronunciation in front of everyone. I then said that’s what I asked for, and she said I was lying. It was really embarrassing in front of everyone. I’d brought my wife for a drink on my one day off, and her rudeness completely ruined it.

Perfect place to relax came for work so staying long time. Klaudia on reception was really helpful always smiling and there to help with anythng we needed. Will deffo rwcomend this place for family or business

Claudia was fantastic in terms of welcoming us for our stay, she was informative and told us about all the aspects of the hotel. She helped us check in and with meal times and access to the gym. What a fantastic face to have welcoming you after a long day

We gave our rather large order to a barrista called Helen in Starbucks. A few of us changed our order and despite the fact she had already started on it. She took the changes in her stride and completed everything really efficiently. Plus the coffees were perfect. 10/10

The staff Klaudia was excellent as were all the staff. Klaudia was very warm and smiling and down to earth and made me feel so welcome and was happy to answer any questions I needed answering. Thank u

We use the Village Hotel regularly for hot desk / shared office space and twice a year we hold a Board Meeting in one of the meeting rooms. Tre was very helpful in catering to our needs and the meeting went well. Issues we had previously had were addressed and the staff, facilities and food / drink offering were very good.

Louise and Junyde were outstanding. Explained all the gym membership options clearly and guided us to the one which was perfect to us. Incredibly helpful and patient. The Village South has excellent amenities and is a great location. Huge thanks to the exceptional Louise and Junyde.
