Bead provided excellent service throughout our meal, making us feel welcome and ensuring our needs were met. The food was also outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. “Went for a Sunday roast and it's honestly the best I've ever had! You are limited in that they only offer beef, but I'm use to having small slithers. This was proper thick cuts of beautifully cooked steaks. The potatoes were super crispy, the Yorkshire puddings melted under the gravy in a way that makes you ask for extra even when you're stuffed and the gravy was packed with flavour. Also the service was above and beyond, incredibly friendly staff who after my mum decided not to have a starter, still brought out an extra plate after asking so she could have a bit from ours. So yeah, I'm not going anywhere else for a roast ever again!”

“It was a busy night due to everyone celebrating GCSE results but staff and management handled well. Food was really good and definitely worth the wait. Once you've ordered expect a good 30 to 40 wait whilst the chefs go to work on your order. I ordered the most expensive thing...fillet steak. Was much smaller than I expected but quality was there. The sauces are very good. Kids had burgers. They didn't complain. The seating area was a bit dull but staff were very nice. Clearly they enjoy working there. Customers were well behaved but at these prices you'd expect that.”

“There was 8; adults visited your pub yesterday 20th August the food was very nice but for one person he ordered rump steak medium to well done and he couldn't eat it as it was burned you didn't charged for it on the bill which was appreciated thank you everybody else enjoyed their food we will be back it didn't put us off visiting again.”

“Had a marvelous dinner at Blackhouse. It was our 2nd night in Leeds and this place did not disappoint. Food was delicious not 1 issue. Replaced my mint mushy peas (shhh don't tell the English) with a OMG Devine salad. We had a spot of tea, a sundae and a cup of coffee after dinner. Just a quick walk from our hotel. Recommend 100%”
