Really gone down the drain since Craftunion takeover. Reasonable service but poor attitudes from all bar staff. Undesirables at both sides of the bar not addressed by staff. Filthy language of one particular staff member. Really makes it a battle having a pint in here. Ugh....!

Decent pub unless donna Woodhead is on shift, catching her doin 'lines' in the customer toilet then proceeding to take my name off my bank card & harass me on social media is a big breech of policy. Landlord let's staff do lines out of the staff kitchen. Absolutely disgusting avoid the place

Superb service from start to finish. Room was so clean and you had absolutely everything you would need. Loved the magnifying make up mirror and the soap/shower gel smelt wonderful. Smothered Steak was so tender and beers were cheap. Breakfast was a full English and was yummy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. ?Parking: Got given a free pass from the hotel, so no payment required.
Popped in for one drink before going for a meal ..ended up having three then went back after the meal ..lovely pub ,friendly staff and a nice atmosphere..Def call back and sit outside plenty of seating and a real sun spot .... last but not least the pubs handsome Sam gorgeous little fur baby ?

Called in for a pint ( pint of landlord) but stayed for three . Lovely real fire , lovely lass behind the bar and nice company . I was allowed to vape without having to step out into the cold .Nice pub .
