The bouncer wanted to search me on suspicion of doing drugs in the toilet. I said I don't have drugs, but I don't consent to a search, so I'll leave. He said I either let him search me, or he will call the police. Then I told him to call the police, to which he let me leave.
I'm fine with being asked to leave, it's the bluffing about calling the police and not letting me go at first that left a bad taste in my mouth. It's a shame because the food was actually good.

Brilliant pub in a lovely area. One, if not the most impressive beer gardens I have seen, with a massive outdoor screen for sports, with several outside bars.
We were here for a gig and stumbled across this pub, and it is definitely a must visit!
We arrived early in the day about 3pm, and my partner wanted some food to snack on. The chef was running late, so no food was available, we were about to leave when one of the staff members, Joe. Offered personally to cook us some chips to tide us over. This was a small gesture but much appreciated as we were running late for our gig. He was also very friendly and was happy to help with anything we needed.
They are quite busy each weekend with students, but it seems there is a room for the students and one for the regulars, which I think is a great idea
Beer was good, guinness was good. Overall, it was a lovely experience from a friendly pub.

Went in before a rhinos game so it was fairly busy. Good selection of drinks, friendly enough staff and a lot of space. Best place for a pre game drink in my opinion. Dropped a star because I asked for a fruit shoot for my kid and they have me j2o

Lovely beer garden and drinks, was disappointed on the day that they weren't serving their full menu but only doing a BBQ which was a bit pricey for a small beef burger that wasn't that tasty.
