Lovely pub. Me and my friend went in for a pint after our walk. Staff are friendly and service was quick.

The Railway Pub: A charming haven with warmth from both the crackling log fire and the genuinely friendly staff. It's a dog-friendly paradise, perfect for a post-winter-walk drink. The only mystery? The elusive Scotch Tart – a culinary enigma that even the locals can't decipher. A dash of delicious confusion in an otherwise delightful experience!

Lovely pub by the leeds Liverpool canal. We'll definitely call again.

Good food, good service - great value. Visited for Sunday Lunch and had 3 courses. Generous Yorkshire portions. Will definitely be back.??

Lovely little pub, warm inside especially when the fire is lit, lots of outdoor space and most importantly they have Old Peculiar on tap (pump)

Much needed pint after a lovely walk. Peaceful beer garden and a nice pint of Moretti before setting off again.

Great pub and a great atmosphere. People are nice along with the staff. In a nice location near the canal and overall a nice spot to have a cold one. The beer garden is well kept along with the side seating area. Nice pub especially if you're local ??

Great little Pub just off the canal serving real ales from its award winning cellar, Locals are very friendly and staff friendly and efficient. Stayed longer than expected because of the welcoming atmosphere

Nice pub and great staff. Shame about the alcoholic with his two dogs (French and Akita), can't handle his drink and very rude to customers.

Like many recent reviewers, we had a very poor experience in here. One of the locals - again referred to in an earlier review - was holding fort in the bar. Loud, opinionated, effing and jeffin. His large dog was sat on the floor ina narrow walkway, making it difficult to get to the toilets. Uncomfortable atmosphere. We won't be returning. There's a far more welcoming pub a short walk down the canal. And it serves better beer with a cnalside garden.

Lovely little pub with a cosy beer garden at the rear. Whilst there I had a pint of Guinness and two pints of Inchs Cider and all tasted great. We will return again for sure.
