Saturday evening table for two . Nice independent little restaurant . After a couple of drinks we had bread and home made pickles. The pickles were extremely tasty . The place has a nice feeling about it and done out quite well . I had the belly pork which was done just right with a side of potatoes . My wife had the chicken schnitzel which she thoroughly enjoyed . I recommend a visit to The Swine That Dines . Support local restaurants

Lunch visit yesterday was a feast for the eyes, the visit did not disappoint. Don’t be put off by the location or the size of the restaurant, the food is the star event. We were a group of three and all chose different dishes. Non of us were disappointed with our choices. We normally had two courses, but the food was so good we felt we had to try the desserts, we were not disappointed. One of our group is gluten free and the waitress went out of her way to identify the gluten free dishes and add a dish from the evening menu, which was requested.Overall, the food is five star, the service five star we will be back.

This place isn’t bad, it’s not even good, it’s bloomin’ brilliant. We booked an early dinner as we were going to the theatre afterwards. Shown to our table and the menu was explained to us - a relatively short list of four starters and the same number of mains. IMO, that’s great; do a few things well rather that loads poorly is my maxim and it is clearly theirs as well.We had a couple of g’n’t’s whilst we chose - fish soup for me and venison terrine for her ladyship followed by duck suet pudding for her and belly pork for me.As we weren’t in a particular rush, we asked for a leisurely service, which we received..The food was exceptional - and that’s not hyperbole - great portion size, tasty, well seasoned, hot.Limited but well chosen wine list - we had the Tempranillo, which was nice.We were served by both the lady who I understand is co-owner and Keisha, who is absolutely lovely. If I’m being really picky, the toilet isn’t fantastic. But it’s an old building and they are clearly limited on space and what they can do in an old cellar space. But don’t let that put you off. Visit this place, because the food is great, the people are lovely and the ambience is superb!!

Had a lovely meal with excellent service. My main was pork belly and pumpkin that was super tasty and the deserts are beautiful and home made.Decent veggie options too which almost got ordered. It's a quaint affair with about 20 covers and the kitchen in the same room, and I assume a husband and wife cooking and serving, so a lovely personable situation.Only marked atmosphere down as it was very quiet, so more people just need to go to improve that!

Firstly thank you for a lovely meal and evening. It's been ages of us thinking of going to The Swine That Dines. Why did we wait?!? I advise people to go, enjoy the wonderful food and wine, the friendly and welcoming service, the great cocktails... But above all, those desserts. Places like this should be treasured. Few plates, brilliantly done.

One of the best meals I had in Leeds hands down. The food is so good you have to stay mindful during each mouthful. The service was also excellent, we felt very cared for. Run, don't walk!

Top scran in central Leeds. Really well rounded menu and reasonable for the quality.

Really loved it here. Felt like I was eating at someone's house with the service being so homely and the lady who served us was super warm and inviting. Wish all restaurants had that warmth! The food did not disappoint and was definitely homely fine dining. Smaller portions but the quality was outstanding - could have eaten it ten times over. The server made it her goal to ensure as a lactose intolerant customer I had the same experience as my partner, so thank you for that! Will be back as often as we can!

This restaurant is an absolute gem of a place. Superb service, lovely ambiance and delicious, wonderful food. Such good value too for food that is as exciting and innovative as any Michelin restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

A place for people who like to eat.In this day and age we are bombared with fancy plates and gimmicks to give the impression of fine dining. This is not this place. The swine that dines is a place for people who love food. Uncomplicated dishes that shine in your taste buds. The freshness of ingredients, the balance in the flavors, the sheer LOVE in the food is palpable. All this combined with the amazing service and cozy place make for an unforgettable dining experience. Best place in Leeds hands down.
