I didn't think it was possible to have a bad bacon and egg sandwich, the teacake was hard and very little filling, loads of really sour ketchup. Luckily I was on my way to the tip some that's where most of it ended up.

I’ve been looking for a local, top quality, full English breakfast for a while. Having tried three around Meltham, in my opinion this is the best. A combination of quality & value for money in a cafe setting. Yes, it has the feel of a “transport cafe” but there’s nothing wrong with that. If you’re looking for “genteel” this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for really good food with ordinary folk in a warm and welcoming place, then this is for you.

A fabulous local cafe , with a great atmosphere, run by a lovely and really interesting owner. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyable breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Seems a popular place for takeout. Although small a lot of menu choice. Felt clean and safe.

Great sandwich shop, service is wonderful and the food is really good. More than just your traditional sandwich shop, offering hot and cold sandwiches, meals to eat in or take away. Well worth a stop for a bacon sandwich.

Beef and onion sandwich on brown OMG its the best ! Tons of meat in the sandwich and the beef is such good quality . The owner Lisel and her staff are all very friendly !
