Food fantastic, service brilliant.Parking: Lots of free parking available.Kid-friendliness: Never had an issue when I have brought my son and we have been several times.

21 Station St, Meltham, HolmfirthReally nice new owners. Very clean and stylish in there. We only went for drinks this time, but we are going to go back to try the Turkish kebabs. The food menu is really really reasonably priced!

9 Bent Ley Rd, Meltham, HolmfirthI’ve been looking for a local, top quality, full English breakfast for a while. Having tried three around Meltham, in my opinion this is the best. A combination of quality & value for money in a cafe setting. Yes, it has the feel of a “transport cafe” but there’s nothing wrong with that. If you’re looking for “genteel” this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for really good food with ordinary folk in a warm and welcoming place, then this is for you.

33 Huddersfield Rd, Meltham, HolmfirthWe came here for lunch as most places nearby weren’t open for food on a Tuesday / dog friendly. We had the lunch special and got a meal, drink & cake which were delicious! Staff were very friendly and our Jack Russell got a biscuit too ?

4 Holmfirth Rd, Meltham, HolmfirthWent there last night with some friends, table of 6. First time me and my wife had been, but it came recommended. We weren't disappointed! We had 3 sizzling sharing platters to start with. The meat was very tasty and tender, with lots of fried onions, which you can't have enough of can you?I ordered the hottest thing on the menu, the Bishnati Jalfrezi, and it was just right. Hot but not so much that it overpowered the taste. Fresh chapati's - job done. We had quite a few drinks, spirits and bottles of wine, and it came to £190, so very reasonable as well. Will definitely be going back.
