Heard about this pub over the years. First time visiting yesterday, loved it, just like going back in time when pubs were pubs with heart and soul. Loved the interesting items and decor, unique. Lovely atmosphere for 10 of us dining, felt personal and really homely. Tasty home cooked meals served by very friendly, welcoming and warming owners and staff. Recently moved here and finally strolled around to have a drink, what a find, fabulous pub and the young lady that served us was amazing she went above and beyond, so much so we have booked a meal for when our friends visit in December, so lucky to have this pub on my doorstep.
