Arthur's Cafe
Lady Wood Lakes, Sands Ln, MirfieldOur first visit to Arthur’s for the “Pub Grub” menu! What an experience ?
I’m a seafood lover (any kind) and was a bit dubious when I saw curried muscles, on the menu! How wrong was I!
Never tasted anything like them before; absolutely outstanding! My compliments to the chef. Folks you’ve got to try Arthur’s! And to those “moaners” who aren’t prepared to wait, perfection takes time!!

Dusty Miller
47 Dunbottle Lane, MirfieldWe went as a party of 6 for Sunday dinner. The staff were very attentive and the food was good. The chef James actually looking after the carvery was especially good considering how busy it was. My only slight criticism was that the table we were allocated was a bit small for 6 people. So well done Dusty Miller.

Capri Mirfield
The Thirsty Man, 79 Old Bank Rd, MirfieldWe chose Capri Mirfield as the venue for our wedding party because we preferred the menu in comparison to other venues, knew the food would be excellent from our previous visits to various Capri restaurants, and appreciated that the venue could accommodate up to 100 guests indoors. However, when we visited in person, we were even more impressed—not only by the decor but also by the exceptional service we received from Sergio. He was approachable, helpful and took the time to answer all our questions, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. The most important factor for us in choosing a venue was the quality of the food, and Capri Mirfield exceeded all expectations on the night. We lost count of how many guests complimented the food—it was truly outstanding! Beyond the delicious food, the service was impeccable. The staff in the function room went above and beyond to ensure we had the best night. Nothing was too much trouble; they were all friendly, attentive and always on hand for anything we needed. At the end of the night, they even insisted on handling all the cleanup, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. With ample parking, a great selection of drinks and a fantastic atmosphere, Capri Mirfield is a perfect choice for any celebration. We highly recommend their function room for anyone looking to host an event, and we’ll definitely be back to dine again soon. Thank you for making our wedding party so special!

The owner is absolutely lovely, and the food is always amazing. Quality may change now and again, but nothing that could change my overall opinion. Every Chinese takeaway I go to in the UK is compared to here as the benchmark of quality

4 Knowl Rd, MirfieldLovely ladies in the mirfield cafe, so friendly and nothing is too much of an ask! Great choice of food and the taste was even better than the choice. Nice calm atmosphere that you can even bring your dogs which is great! They didn’t have a baby changing table however they did give me somewhere out of the way & private to change my baby, even put a cover down for me! One of the ladies noticed I was breastfeeding and brought me a glass of water which was such a lovely thought, especially in the 30degree heat, although it was nice and cool in the cafe! Will definitely be back! Amazing little find
