First time we've been for a Sunday lunch at the Travellers and I have to say it was a 1st class meal. We certainly will return.

When my friend got assaulted by a man in the bar area, I told the landlady and she laughed in my face, didn’t ask for any details and walked away from me. She later approached me shouting at me (her friend held her back assuming she was about to grab me, so perhaps something similar has happened before?). It came to light that the man in question was the landlady’s husband. Absolutely no sympathy or apology. Very disappointed as we had an adequate evening leading up to this point.
First time for me, will definately be back.Tasty hot food( I did have two portions of peas as my stepmum doesn't eat hers!!)Lovely helpful staff,nice and warm inside on a cold day.good outdoor area with lights and I think heaters.Dog friendly.Perfect,thank you very much.
