Great evening yet again! Meatopia was a stunner, Wine was delicious, and the desserts are sublime. Always enjoyable to watch the chef at work. We will be back again soon!

My family & I booked Denmans for NYE and it did not disappoint. The BEST meal I’ve eaten in a restaurant for as long as I can remember. The food was sublime. Every plate was a taste explosion! We ordered 12 plates between 5 of us & every one of them was beautiful. We also ordered deserts which were equally flavoursome. The quality of the food & the presentation was second to none! I really could not have been more impressed. In addition to the incredible food the service was fantastic. Attentive, but not to much. Always there when needing something but not over the top. The ladies are 100% in the right job ;) The meal was such good value for money & would have happily paid more for the quality of the food, service & an overall really special night. We cannot wait to come back. A new family favourite!

This place is one of our favourite restaurants. Would highly recommend as the food is outstanding. We have been numerous times for different occasions with friends & family & the food has never disappointed. The menu is exciting, quirky & always tasty. Can’t wait to visit again.

Been 3 times recently and never disappointed. Offers an enticing, ever changing & eclectic menu, with a variety of flavours and options to suit all food lovers. Nice little selection of cocktails too. Good & friendly service.

Denman’s is now a strange very expensive kind of tapa’s Not at all the restaurant we have visited on many occasions & had gorgeous meals. Very expensive for small plate food that you get now. The staff are rude ( chef’s mum ) in wrong job. We were sat at our table 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink. You don’t know in what sequence your food is arriving. Very very strange concept!!!! That was our 5th visit & still expected Denman’s, but sadly nothing as fabulous as it used to be. We will NOT go again & would NOT recommend

Unfortunately our party of 6 attended at the weekend for our Xmas meet up and evening meal. 2 of the 6 have previously dined in the restaurant and had excellent reviews on the food . Sadly last weekend this was not to be. Firstly the menu had changed completely! The new menu was confusing and was very overpriced . We were advised by the waitress to choose 4/5 dishes per couple . This was like a tapas menu which was VERY small portions. The food was served in very sparse bursts , 4 people out of 6 waited a long time for their food serving . Myself and my husbands food came out more or less all at once , resulting in us just about finishing our meal before the others food came out . This was not a great experience at all . This sadly resulted in hungry , frustrated people at our table. The food was very bland and had we known about any of this , we would have booked another restaurant . Maybe the changes should be discussed at point of booking . I can imagine there will be a few disappointed people over the festive period with the same complaint as mine . I would only recommend the restaurant for anyone wanting a expensive snack . I am not one to complain usually but I am upset at the amount it cost and the very disappointed party. Overall this was not a great experience sadly , but i wish them all the best .

The most wonderful discovery, what a brilliant place! A while since I went, I've been meaning to leave a review for ages ... Delicious food - amazingly prepared by a single chef when we were there! - a really welcoming, cozy atmosphere, service was perfect with everything served little by little, just at the right time, so we could enjoy it all without rushing. Highly recommend

Tried this little Gem of a place out last night and oh wow I so wish my tummy could have fit more in, they provide small plates of fine food to share (or not) and it was all devine, we like to eat food that we wouldn’t or couldn’t make at home and this is exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price, A date night with the husband could have cost us just £55 for 5 small plates inclusive of a bottle of wine but we chose to order more as it was so lush, please don’t be mistaken by “The small plate” wording, this is NOT tapas as you know it but little plates of loveliness, atmosphere was very nice for a small place too and the staff were very nice & attentiveness, we will for sure return to this little hidden gem !
The restaurant itself is beautiful. The lighting and the way the tables are set out is perfect to create a really nice relaxed ambiance. Now the food. WOW!! We had the 5 dish small plates. They come out gradually so you are not overwhelmed. From the presentation to the way each dish is cooked is second to none. We could not resist asking for the menu to try more dishes. We recently ate in the aqua restaurant in the Shard London. Denmans food, taste and presentation would not not be out of place there. We had a lovely evening and can’t wait to return. ❤️

The food was tapas style and therefore bought 5 dishes. All dishes were tasty. However I think the restaurant is massively over priced for what you get per dish. We won't be going back. Tried and tested but unfortunately way too pricey.

I am afraid we were not impressed. Just did not get on with the small plate concept. Some of our dishes could not really be shared, such as a small piece of cod, tablespoon of macaroni cheese. One plate arrive and the the second for the same person, so he had finished when the rest came and one person had nothing to eat until the end when we had all finished. The place is decorated well and music good, but as somebody else said, there is no atmosphere. The staff were quite bossy and one of them never smiled and got quite snappy when I did not understand what she was asking us, they also looked quite scruffy, as though they had their around the house clothes on, think somebody else mentioned this. The food is not really presented well and there is no explanation of when you should expect the food or what to do. Non of the desserts appealed to any of us and were very simple. The prices are high for what you get, sort of pretentious tapas. Used to enjoy this restaurant as a normal restaurant, think they have list their way and will not be going back I am afraid.
