Excellent service. Me and my son went three times and on each occasion we were given the highest standard of service. The staff are really kind and met all our needs. The food is excellent and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and will be going back again. Thank you. 10 out of 10.

Wanted to order gluten free as I am coeliac. I was aware they only did it on a Tuesday however it doesn't say anywhere that it is only until 6 o'clock. I think it's wrong that we people who can't have gluten should be discriminated against as to not be able to have fish and chips any day they please and then on top of that not be able to have it as late as people who are not coeliac. I hope this changes to every day or even just to as late as when you shut. As of now you have lost a local customer.

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. All served hot and freshly cooked, lovely crispy batter on the fish and chips great and not greasy. Will definitely be going back.

Worst fish & chips I've had. Small fish that absolutely stank vile. I don't know what the fish was but it tasted cheap and nasty. The chips weren't much better, they had a dodgy smell. Waste of £20 for 2 lots of fish & chips. Ended up up in the bin.

£9.60 for supposedly large fish and chips, with curry sauce. The fish was the size of a stickleback, tasteless, cheap cod alternative and the curry sauce was repulsive.

Every so often as I am wondering what is going on with the crazy weather and World, I am momentarily filled with hope: today's rays came up in the shape of Knights chippy in Pontefract. The place is a little bit of a godsend with delicious fresh food at excellent prices: Cod Regular 5.00£ (this is the same as I get in Pimlico and it costs 11.00+); medium-sized chips 2.30! C'MON! And homemade (yes, homemade) parsley cake at the give-away price of 1.90£..... Anyone ever eaten a BLACK haddock? No, me neither until I tried it. Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed. So the food is a bit great, but what about the staff: Friendly - incredibly and how very much refreshing their attitude is. Rule Britannia, rule Knights of Ponte

Extremely disappointed with the food from Knights recently. They have gone from the best fish and chips in Pontefract to the worst!
