If you order on line for some unknown reason you pay an extra 20% so make sure to pay cash on delivery. Also really annoyed to find out that if you add a £2 tip on card for the driver he only gets £1.50 as they keep the rest. So once again pay it all in cash!!!!

The food was very good but if you use card and not cash you pay 20% extra on your price. Also prices on the online menu are not the same as the current takeaway ones. It was very busy tonight which is fine and clearly deliveries going out constantly, but I was trying to drop off my partner to collect,watch the traffic and find a space to park when a delivery driver came up to me and was abusive about me being in his way. I tried to explain that I couldn't move for the cars . He wasn't interested. Parking is difficult and I advise to park across the road to the Iceland car park if you can. People are busy but like everything else these days people are just angry in attack mode before we even start. So if having delivered don't expect great service. Other than that it is nice food and very pleasant owners

Literally the worst food I’ve ever tasted. Ordered chicken balls in batter, was advised would be 30-45 minutes. Turned up 1 hour 15 minutes later (Wednesday night). Food flat cold, prawn crackers all smashed up in the bag. Chicken balls tasted like soggy cardboard, rice was cold, sauce tasted of plastic. No wonder they open when everyone else is shut.

Very helpful and will accommodate your wishes, I order regularly and I am very pleased with the service. I get mushroom foo young, chips and curry sauce. I love the curry sauce especially, not too spicy but full of flavour. The portions are generous and always tasty. Easiest way to order is online via the “New Jade City” Website, check it’s the Hemsworth one first though as there is another Jade City website for a Chinese down south somewhere. You need to put the word NEW in front. Very happy with the food from hereVegetarian options: Most dishes can be vegetarian

Had a chicken curry with egg fried rice it was by far the best I've had in a long time and I've used take aways in south kirkby and south elmsall and they don't even compare to the quality of this place
