Recently just ate there with friends. We all agreed with thought the atmosphere was tense. We got sat right next to the piano player which was nice but was too loud as we couldn’t hardly hear what anyone was saying. Waitress took our orders and we got back “is that all you’re ordering” not exactly professional. More than likely won’t return.

Just been to East for a lovely meal. From the warm friendly genuine welcome, to the attentive prompt service, to the delicious, nicely presented food. I can’t rate this place highly enough. All in all it was a lovely dining experience. I didn’t feel herded in and out like some of the popular but tired places on Leeds Road that aren’t taking as much care with the quality of food now. I looked online to compare menus and prices the Leeds Road ones don’t display prices, but East’s menu is very very extensive with everything including prices displayed online. It felt like a really lovely quality meal out and well worth the money. Which is really great prices. The place looks new and fresh with a classy look to the place. There’s a great drinks, wine and large cocktail list too. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Oh and it’s not a big chain. It’s a local Pudsey quality lovely restaurant.

Mixed starter was good and full of flavour. Main dishes unfortunately not so good. Every curry tasted the same and just tasted like the base gravy, no spices or flavour coming through.Staff polite and helpful.

Brilliant place to go for authentic Indian food. The atmosphere was lovely the staff were amazing very welcoming and catered to our every need. The food was quick served but cooked beautifully and well seasoned.
