I had a king prawn curry with special fried rice and its was lovely. The waiters were very friendly and helped advise us on what to try as I and some others didn't have a wealth of Thai cuisine. Lovely place and people and very tasty food. Ok 👍

501 Leeds and, Bradford Rd, PudseyThis is an experience. Nothing I have come across before for an Indian restaurant, though I think it is Pakistani. The portions are large, don't over order, even the breads. Great food, really tasty, extensive menu. Inside is a world away from the road outside on the Leeds/Bradford border. Plenty of seating and yet it was full. It takes a while to get used to pink/purple decor, but it does work. They cater for all groups of sizes. Friendly staff. We had to hold off on our mains to sort out parking plus we had over ordered on the starters. Yet they kept out table and allowed us to come and go, obviously we had to pay up first. That is the down side, even though there is parking and you woukd have thought sufficient, it gets full and no cars can be left overnight which is a shame if you want a drink. The location does not marry up with what is inside, which is a great food experience when in the Leeds and Bradford area.

116 Richardshaw Ln, Stanningley, PudseyWe celebrated my brother's birthday here today, the owner was sound and explained the menu and thinking behind it, was a different but a good experience as we were expecting mixed grills etc like Sheepy in Leeds. Funky Indian doesn't serve traditional currys (dopiaza, bhuna, jalftezi) but that's what they're trying to educate the majority of Indian food lovers that think going to an Indian must include currys. Love the fact it's not halal. Food was very good and filling, tried a variety of different offerings as there were 11 of us and the cost was around £100 between us all and the portions are very generous. The 3 ltr cocktails are banging.......Will be back again without a doubt.

The Royal, 30 Station St, Pudseywent and played social darts yesterday and can honestly say what a brilliant day it was such good fun and a laugh. we had our own private room own bar service it was really well explained and all staff was lovley. Angel did a great job in looking after us and making sure we had a great time. definitely recommend social darts and support your local pub.

I am most happy to have plenty of options to choose from as vegan and my non vegan family also enjoys the food. The delivery is usually very fast. I highly recommend

The service was impeccable, it was busy but the ladies were all smiling and happy with customers. Timing was great! Wasn't too long a wait for food, it came out steaming hot, fresh and delicious. It was roast beef dinner & a vegan meal. The beef was not fatty, chewy or overcooked. The vegan wellington was DELICIOUS! full of flavour. Portion sizes were just the right size. Desserts we decided on after seeing other people's. We made a great choice lol would 100% recommend and cant wait to go back.

They have always been extremely friendly and the food speaks for itself. Our favourite is the combo salami pizza. (they never skimp on the toppings!)
My neighbour and I have run into eachother many a time, one of us clutching a warm pizza box and the other on their way over to get their own.

Whenever I go here the food is good and I've not been dissapointed yet. The garlic bread usually has a slight crunch to the bottom which is how i prefer it. My one complaint is I think that the chip spice should be free.

I am from America and been to his place many times and never disappointed. The last visit he made the food himself, a big treat. I highly recommend. It is not sit down but incredible take away. If I could figure out a way to get him here I'd do it!

When I last visited howdys a couple months back the food wasn’t that great but visiting today it was way better. I got recommended a chicken sizzler by the lady who was really lovely and it was honestly so amazing and tasty. The service was great and the staff was so friendly. We ordered mocktails too and they were well presented and really nice. Definitely recommend amazing environment and great place to take your kids out. ??

The Wetherby Whaler
32 Lowtown, PudseyI was eager to review one of the seven branches of The Wetherby Whaler, and on this occasion, I chose Pudsey. There is a good-sized private free car park to the rear of the building. The shop is large, with a dedicated chippy takeaway and a spacious restaurant. Everything was tidy, and the customer service was commendable. The packaging was environmentally friendly.
I opted for the Whaler Haddock, which was a thick jumbo fillet encased in a dark, crispy batter. The batter had a colour I had never experienced before, but the taste was excellent, as was the haddock. However, the chips were pale, much too firm, and rather bland. The potato scallop was a bit oily (beef dripping) and, like the Yorkshire fishcake, could have benefitted from being left to drain for a minute or two before packaging.

2 Croft St, Farsley, PudseyOne of the best fish and chips I've had. Always fresh! We order from here regularly. You can order online or just walk in. Honestly sometimes when it's near to closing it's easier to walk in. Even when there's a queue they are always so quick
Having grown up in London I can safely say that the fish and chips up here are generally much nicer. Even better than the south coast seaside shops you'd have thought were better

The food itself is just as amazing. I've tried other chinese takeaways before but they do not compare to the food here. I could not recommend it more. The staff are also absolutely lovely. Very kind and welcoming. Some of the best customer service I've ever seen and the girls who work at the counter are really sweet. Will continue coming here for as long as I live in the delivery vicinity.

I’m surprised that the overall rating is so low. The food is well flavoured and quality of the meat is good. This is well priced for the quality and service.

My first visit to this hidden gem, ordered the katsu chicken burger, fries and Korean style wings and not a scrap was left. Will definitely be ordering again. These items alone hands down beat all other takeaways in Pudsey, looking forward to trying other things from the menu
