“We celebrated my brother's birthday here today, the owner was sound and explained the menu and thinking behind it, was a different but a good experience as we were expecting mixed grills etc like Sheepy in Leeds. Funky Indian doesn't serve traditional currys (dopiaza, bhuna, jalftezi) but that's what they're trying to educate the majority of Indian food lovers that think going to an Indian must include currys. Love the fact it's not halal. Food was very good and filling, tried a variety of different offerings as there were 11 of us and the cost was around £100 between us all and the portions are very generous. The 3 ltr cocktails are banging.......Will be back again without a doubt.”

“A favourite of mine for a good curry! Plus it helps that it’s a 5 minute walk from home. Service is always prompt and friendly
Curry also very fresh and tasty, just the right amount of spice for me. Last night I had onion bahji, followed by chicken and spinach dopiaza. We shared mushroom pilau rice and chapatis
Total bill with a beer was £25 each, which I think is good value”

“A friend introduced us to this place and I’m so grateful! Personally don’t like super hot spices but they will adjust to your preference- Tikka Masala, Rice and a HUGE naan was enough for me and my partner to share absolutely beautiful food, really well packaged, the dishes in plastic boxes all put into a sturdy carry box to protect the pappudoms etc. great price, fast delivery to wortley amazing value will be ordering again for sure! thank you!”

“Rana has an amazing menu of food . My husband and I go there often and get takeout or sometimes sit in and eat .Chana bhatura tastes just like it does in India and his cookery is done with so much love. Flavours on point and good portion as well .Must try his fish karahi as well .His food is made fresh on order because it does take a while to get prepped. He is also always very welcoming and greets you with a smile .Keep it up”

“Ordered the Mix meal for delivery, thought why not with relatively standard expectations. I’ll be honest these guys have smashed it! Pizza nicely cooked.. plenty of fries an donner etc .. but the curry YO! Dupiaza was like a desi home cooked dish. Classs!! Fresh and tasty nice delivery guy .
Just wanted to be sure to give them a shout out … keep on guys . Keep up the standard. You’re BANG on with Value for money. Exceeded expectations”

“Wow wow wow
We have used woodys a few times now.
Smash burgers, to die for, tender juicy burgers, ?
? pizzas, hot, tasty and absolutely out of this world.
We have had a brilliant meal every time.
Nothing is too much trouble, food always hot, delivered on time and soooo tasty.
Honestly, it's not often you find a great takeaway that does it all, woodys never fails
Try it, you won't be disappointed”

“Best curries in Bradford/Leeds. Really love the samosas and bread pakoras. The bean and potato curry was especially delicious! Highly recommended. Great helpful and friendly staff too:-)”

“This is an experience. Nothing I have come across before for an Indian restaurant, though I think it is Pakistani. The portions are large, don't over order, even the breads. Great food, really tasty, extensive menu. Inside is a world away from the road outside on the Leeds/Bradford border. Plenty of seating and yet it was full. It takes a while to get used to pink/purple decor, but it does work. They cater for all groups of sizes. Friendly staff. We had to hold off on our mains to sort out parking plus we had over ordered on the starters. Yet they kept out table and allowed us to come and go, obviously we had to pay up first. That is the down side, even though there is parking and you woukd have thought sufficient, it gets full and no cars can be left overnight which is a shame if you want a drink. The location does not marry up with what is inside, which is a great food experience when in the Leeds and Bradford area.”
