So, these reviews are not clear. We had two meals each (4) plus sides and they were ALL very poorly flavoured, rather bland and one was a tandoori mixed grill, which is pretty hard to get wrong. Will definitely NOT be going back. btw, the curry sauce was actually pointless, never had such a poor flavourless sauce.

Superb meal, we have a boys curry club where we meet once a month and go to different restaurants, the Rupali is one of the best we visit, wonderful food and value for money, and you can BYOB, spot

Our waiter was sound enough although didn't really seem to have any enthusiasm. The food is not good enough for Bradfordians where there is so much choice. The decor is 1980s-esque and toilets are upstairs. It's a weird thing this place still exists TBF the entire time we were there no one came in to eat (there were two take outs). It's pretty evident it's dead because the staff have a TV they just sit and watch when it's quiet. This is basically in the restaurant....There is no uniqueness to the experience or the food. There appears to be no diamond in the rough here although I'd love a response from the staff letting me know what I missed!Apologies but Rupali is one to miss.Parking: Park in the pay and display in the middle of Baildon and it's a 3 minute walk.

Friendly efficient staff. Food bland. Curries very wet and chicken pcs very small. Average score fells fair. Plenty of other local options so will try them next time

You have to book! Didn’t know this, walked in off the street, asked for a table for two, made to feel like an unwelcome outcast, so was turned away. Only two tables were occupied in the place! Went round the corner to Kashmiri Aroma, what a difference, place was packed and we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness. Great meal! Walked home past the Rupali, only one table occupied? Won’t be calling back anytime soon.

Firstly, credit where credit's due. The Seekh kebab was a bit different from the norm and very good. The staff were very friendly and the price was reasonable. However, the mushroom pilau rice and chicken Dopiaza were very disappointing. There was nothing terrible about it, all cooked well etc. The disappointing thing was that I've tasted more flavour in a glass of tap water.

Lots of sauce but little else. Regarding flavour it was difficult to distinguish one dish from another. Old fashioned backstreet takeaway that gets away with it because of a captive market when they’re the only place around. Around here though, there are many better options.

I've been a few times over the last year, loved it every timeThe atmosphere was a bit quiet to begin with, but once word got it that it reopened, it's often been very busy, dine-ins and takeaway. Recommend booking, especially for large groups of 5 or more.No alcohol license, but you can take your own no problemService has always been great. The owner has advised us on spice level (we like our food hot, but not so hot you can't eat it)Food, been as a couple and with friends and family, everyone has enjoyed it thoroughly. The price is pretty reasonable, too. You can pay on card, but i try to pay cash in small venues like this.

Without doubt the best value curry house in Baildon. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is very good quality and you get good sized portions. Best of all it has the best prices of any of the curry houses in Baildon. I thoroughly recommend Rupali.

Visited this evening as working nearby. It was quiet but lots of takeaways. The owner was very nice and advised on the local area as well as the menu choices. Having ate in lots of Indian restaurants I’d happily say this is up there with the best. I had the chicken madras which was hot and spicy but had the zing of lemon and fenugreek that I love. Delicious naan and lovely fluffy rice. Will definitely be back. Oh it’s also BYO so even better value.

A great traditional curry restaurant, very attentive staff and great food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be returning.
