Rumpus Burger - Saltaire

My wife and I had a fantastic meal today with friends. The food, the service from all the staff, the atmosphere was excellent. The gentleman and lady at the front of house really made us welcome, the service was spot on. The food from the pair of chefs was super quick and again spot on. Really enjoyed ?
Each visit is a great meal.
And I think the pricing is very good value too.

Il Pirata Pizzata

We were a bit late at booking our table as our plans had changed and as good as ever , Simon and his crew sorted us out with a great meal. Staff have always been excellent and the guys last night were totally up to speed on customer service etc. Perfect after the chronic week we had both had!

Shimla Spice Shipley

We travel from Sutton In Craven to come to this curry house because the food and the service is great. The spicing in the curries is better than the Aagrah in my opinion and the side dishes as well and there’s always enough to take home with you ?

Doyle's Fisheries

Cracking value, fresh eat-in fish and chips right in the business end of Shipley. Happy to score 5 stars across the board, unlike my wife who gets minus 5 stars for her felonious act against mushy peas. Animal.

The Wrose Bull

£12 for 2 mains from sizzler menu.
Both had fish chips peas which came with lemon wedge and tartar sauce. Short wait, food cooked to perfection - cant get that value in a chippy!
Well done chef and woman who served us.

The Crafty Indian

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and well worth the price too. I also like how we got to try different curries on the set meal deal so we got to experience more than we usually would. Would definitely recommend :)

Absolutely bang on food been going for couple years now, cant knock it. Also huge variety of things on the menu I never get tired of eating from there, from quick bites to a full feed! Don’t miss out.

Rossini Italian Restaurant

I was a little apprehensive about dining here, not because of any reason than it's new to us.

the margarita pizza was delicious, seriously delicious
my spaghetti Carbonara was devine.
we will definitely be returning to try something else

Tapas Tree Restaurant

Went this evening. Ordered too much food, ate 99% of it and am now home in a delightful food coma. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the staff are amazing. Thank you for a lovely evening and see you soon

Wrose Pizza & Kings Balti

Food was tasty, jam packed mixed donner kebab and chicken biryani. The biryani was tasty and spicy but not too spicy which was perfect for me. We messed the order up but the guy phoned us quickly and sorted it out calmly and politely and refrained from calling my husband a dumbass which was very restrained of him given the cockup !!

Dandelion Cafe

Come on people. What are you waiting for? This place has amazing food, friendly and helpful staff and smashing music. Just off Saltaire Road but really worth turning down the side street to visit.

Recently moved into the area.
Gave China Star a try.
I have to say the food was amazing, the service was great.
We will definitely be using China Star again without hesitation. First class.

Copper and Moss

Went for a late breakfast. Had the full English which I thought was a fairly average posh cafe breakfast. The bacon is worth a try though... Saltaire Ham I think it was? £14 was a bit steep. Service was great.

Whitehouse Pizza

Ordered 2 pizzas, garlic bread with cheese and a bottle of pop through just eat. The delivery was spot on time, friendly driver, it was the best Bolognese pizza my wife has ever eaten, mine was amazing too. Lovely thin crispy base and piping hot. 10/10 would highly recommend if in the area

Big thanks to nicola always making the best drinks especially the caramel frap! this is definitely my new spot best atmosphere ever everyone is really friendly the staff always accommodate to my expectations and always exceed them get to shipley Costas for the best drinks nothing compares

The Terrace cafe bar

Table booked for 4 by local friends who wanted to try the restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We had Deep fried Brie and Calamari for starters, King Scallops, Persian Lamb, Beef Kebab for mains and all very good. This was washed down with glasses of Gin, Wine, Morreti, and not expensive at £100 for 4! A very good experience - then a few more beers at Fannys round the corner!

Wrose Balti

I came in tonight to order food and unfortunately my partner left his card at the petrol station down the road so he had to shoot off. The lads working at Wrose balti kindly let me wait there until he got back. Made my food and allowed me to sit. It smelt so good I couldn’t wait to eat my chicken tikka wrap and wow it was incredible!! Sooo yummy. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. And for the amazing food!

Noble Comb

Great quality of food and lots to choose from! The soft play is small and could make it bigger. The bathrooms are clean and not too dirty. I would definitely recommend for toddlers and young children (3-6) for the soft play!! I would definitely come back again!

We have been twice and the food / service is excellent we have never had to wait long.
Great prices and meal deals on the menu - 3 courses for £15.90 there aren't many places you can eat out for this nowadays.
We will definitely be back again for more ?

Absolutely lovely pizza. I ate inside the takeaway, so it was super fresh. Staff are very welcoming and they take card payments. Pricing was reasonable too. What's not to like...

The Cedar Tree

Ordered from just eat first time doing this must I add. Straight away Cedar Tree came up as the first option, I ordered a chicken burger and biscoff cheesecake both delicious food was fresh and tasty. Cheesecake was frozen but allowed it to defrost at room temperature whilst my burger settled, I was actually pretty full after the chicken burger and chips.

Aagrah

Came here for the first time this weekend for the evening buffet, will 100% be coming again! I thought it was a little pricey but you can take your own drinks (alcoholic) and iv never been to a buffet with such a big selection to choose from! Everything was fresh and tasty. Exceeded my expectations! Did get quite busy and loud but it was a Saturday night and how busy it was just shows how good it is!

I had a fantastic experience with chicken cottage Shipley. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was craving. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, and the portions were great. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and fresh. Definitely one of the best takeaways I’ve had??????

Nawabi Indian Takeaway

We have just moved into the area and have been trying to find a place that can offer quality Indian food at a reasonable price with good service included. We have definitely food it at Nawabi Baildon.
The friendliness of Ali who took our order was a breath of fresh air compared with what we ate used to where we used to live. The driver (sorry didn’t get his name) was also so friendly. The food came when promised and the popadoms and pickle tray were very fresh. The onion bhajis were to die for and the curry that i had recommended was perfect taste served ‘Asian style.’ Just right for me. We are happy to have found our regular weekly curry.

Sambuca

Its my daughter's birthday on 4th January and Sambuka is always closed ( rightly so for a very well deserved rest after the very busy christmas period). This is her/ our favourite restaurant that we like to go out to to celebrate her birthday with a meal. So we have......not by choice.....had to try another local restaurant for her birthday. Last year, it was a hughe let down comparatively. The food was ok however we were over charged and the whole experience was Lacking the friendliness we always get from Sambuka. This year we postponed her meal to today. We had, as expected and hoped, the most amazing meal to celebrate her birthday. The owner and his team always offer the best service from arrival to leaving. Can not compliment them enough. Thank you all so much. Xxx

The staff are lovely, the food is made with love - if you love a proper cake (and in my opinion they’re the only cakes worth loving) you will have landed in heaven!?

Atmosphere is very nice. Elegant looking restaurant. Staff is quite active and helpful. Food all kinds was available we had buffet, enjoyed it. They arranged a small event and a cake for us too to celebrate my birthday. Overall a lovely experience. A must-go!

We had a lovely time last night. Really nice staff, especially Makenzie who was very kind and helpful when I called them later on about my pandora bracelet that had fallen off. She had a good look around and was very kind ?

We had arrived in the town and wanted somewhere for an evening meal away from our hotel, after passing a few restaurants we came across Franco's and managed to find parking relatively close by Wednesday had not booked and we're pleasantly surprised to be offered a table. The restaurant was well appointed with plentiful staff on hand. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. Incredibly efficient and organised. The meal was excellent and superbly presented.(even my friend's son who is an exceptionally fussy eater enjoyed it!) Definitely top of our list if we should ever return to the area Highly recommended.

The Olive Cafe Lounge

Popped in between appointments at the Yorkshire Clinic. Wasn't expecting what we got, absolutely beauty food and service. We will deffo be back. Lovely little gem of a place.

Fantastic little bar, always friendly and some great bands/solo artists.Edit: Bar twelves had a makeover and looks even more amazing. The low lighting gives it a really cozy feel.

We've ordered from sun sing for a long time and would definitely recommend!

It can be a little hit and miss at the moment but it's amazing when it's on point!

The team are super friendly and always happy to make little changes we have.

Our favourite in the area, we never order from anywhere else.

New Rainbow

Amazing and Fantastic food. Portion sizes are always very generous and love the plants they have in the counter to bring a nice atmosphere. Food always delicious and tasty and never had a bad meal there. Definitely recommend for a Chinese to go to.

Salts Village Bakery Ltd

A lovely bakery. We got two coffees and a couple of sweets each. You can sit in or takeout for a reduced price.
Other food looked high quality and very reasonably priced.
The staff were smiley and friendly.

Café Oasis

Been a customer here for awhile so its fitting I finally put a review on lol.

The service is amazing here. The staff are kind, Welcomkng and caring.

The only gripe I have is the pricing for the food. The food is getting way to expensive. For example cheesy chips used to be around £2.80 now it's pushing £5. I think to be exact it's around £4-£4.80.

But apart from that It's overall a great place to have a drink.
