Chicken Stop
133 Barnsley Rd, South Elmsall, PontefractOrdered the variety bucket for collection said it would be 10 mins and it was. The food was amazing there was so much food 2 big bags of chips, chunky potato quarters, large fillets chicken strips and boned chicken, you also a big box of popcorn chicken oh and wings. You get a large side and a big bottle of pop all for £21. The chips were very tasty and crispy and the chicken was very tasty would definitely recommend and will be ordering again 5⭐️ Lovely staff as well.

Stadium Way, South Elmsall, PontefractGreat prices, back In the day I was renown for the odd q & a in eggberts. Great people they had my Xmas dinner ready for me after shunting 50 boxes a day at next n dropping one in at finlays and not to mention the odd netto box too.

13 Barnsley Rd, South Elmsall, PontefractThe food was very tasty. The paneer cheese is great and I love it. Naan bread is delicious and the staff was very nice. The amount of food you get doesn’t look like too much but honestly, one portion can feed two people easily.

27 Barnsley Rd, South Elmsall, PontefractFirstly, odd to see any reviews other than 5 star for this shop. Been going here since it opened and it’s had a refit along the way. The shop is small in comparison to some but it really does the job well. That’s credit to the staff working in such a small environment yet products are out fresh every day, consistency is high, they are very friendly and polite too, under pressure and in some cases really difficult circumstances due to the utter rudeness of some customers who think it’s ok to demand food as and when they want, shout abuse at them and just be down right arrogant and miserable. \nHow the staff rise above it is beyond me, I’d slap them between the eyes with a sausage roll if they spoke to me like that. \nAnyway, I have had constant great service from Sandra, Lorna and Nicola. These seem to be in serving when I go. There is some other staff just as good but unsure of names but the 3 I mentioned always go above and beyond to help. \nWish they had a bigger store in South Elmsall as I’d spend more time in there if it was a sit in store. Anyway. Top marks to all the staff and keeping the village and beyond fed and watered. Cheers!

Tasty House
145 Barnsley Rd, South Elmsall, PontefractThe food wasn't bad, we actually enjoyed it, however it was a bit of a mix up with our food as we didn't get what we ordered.The person taking our order was clearly hating their job and it seemed like they wanted to make it obvious for everyone.The noodles were 4 out of 10, but the mains (chilli chicken and salt & pepper chicken) were a solid 9.
