“Really nice friendly pub with great staff and huge choice of drinks. If you ask for coffee with hot oat milk you get a decent jug full too. Lovely setting with various places to sit inside and out or next to the river”

“We recently hosted my Mum’s 60th birthday party at Gimbals. Janet, Charlie and the whole team were amazing throughout. They helped us plan a perfect event, with a personalised menu and went all out to make the venue look fabulous. Our guests were all amazed at the quality of food and the fantastic service. “Great place to eat and drink , from start to finish I loved it , i had the sautes which I had the pan-fried chicken and lamb mixed it was gorgeous,the flavours in the sauses was amazing, my friend had fajitas and they tasted amazing too only the down side to it I could only eat half ,to me the portion sizes could feed two lol , lovely food great services, I'm definitely going again very soon.”
