Second time here, we were kept waiting for 40 minutes for our table, we had booked well in advance.Apparently the party before had turned up late, instead of turning them away they decided to let them sit and eat, making us late.Otherwise the staff were very good and the service once we sat down was great, they did also remove our drinks from the bill as a good will gesture, which was appreciated.The food was superb and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.Would I recommend it, absolutely, the food is great.

We got takeaway tonight from Kiplins, and have done many many times, but at my old address. Given we've just moved in to a new place I thought it'd be a nice treat for us. We ordered through Uber eats, which might've been the mistake.Food took over 2 hours to come, and there was clearly some confusion around the order, as we had to call the restaurant due to lateness only to find that the Uber driver had cancelled the order after not finding the house - madness, but nevermind.After all that, food delivered, nice and hot, and exactly as expected, upto that top notch quality that Kiplins always deliver. So even though I've given 3 stars it's really only down to the lateness and the service misshap, food was delicious and would definitely recommend just visiting the restaurant in person.

3rd Time for us. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Sowerby Bridge. Quantity of Food is excellent, staff are friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Nothing else to say except will be returning.

Amazing food, reasonable pricing and a great range on the menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our group of 5 went in on a local recommendation and had a really fantastic time. This restaurant gets the Pat Butcher seal of approval and we will be returning again whenever we are next in town.

It's not unusual for UK Indian restaurants to make their main course sauces in advance and then add the meats that the customers order to serve Unfortunately Kiplings made the sauces and peshwari naan bread well in advance of tonight and served them all up barely tepid, and in my poor wife's case on top of undercooked king prawns. A quick reheat didn't really improve the food so we paid and left. Coupled with the lacklustre meet and greet, 35 min wait for a pre booked table and no ice and lemon in the G&T's it was a poor dining experience The food that could not be prepped in advance (chicken liver starter and mixed kebab starter) were nice. 2 x 2 courses one naan and 4 drinks £75
Excellent restaurant. I have been coming here for many years, for approx 5-6 years. The food is always great, and the service is exceptional. This time around I found everything from entering the building no booking, as I am a regular here they saw looked after me and. After 10 mins we got me a table. The started a mixed sizzler for 2x was exceptional, then the main a Chicken & Keema Karachi curry, again this was exceptional. I can't thank Rav enough for all his Excellent Customer Service, this is what separate this restaurant from the ordinary to extra ordinary. They are always busy. And all the recent national curry awards and reviews they get are well deserved.

ordered a delivery not expecting much as i felt let down last time I ate in..must say definitely was much better.delivery driver was a very pleasant polite young man delivery with a smile and very friendly..( Thank you Zac).I got onion bhajis which was very nice and 2 Currys which was really big portions..so big me and hubby shared and froze half of each.great value for money.i will definitely order again.only let down was the the online menu as not enough information on product.

Another fantastic meal (Khari & Masalla) on Sunday 3rd December from Sowerby Bridge.Also a shout out to the fantastic service, as it was snowing we got a call to say the driver couldn't reach our property (Standard in this weather, cottage outside of Midgley) however I advised to just return the food as our dog had escaped we we were busy running around the village trying to catch her, with no idea how long it would take.To their credit, the restaurant called back and advised once we we were ready they would remake the order and send it out again!Luckily after a few mile and 90 minutes we got the dog back and enjoyed a delicious meal, eventually!
