Excellent deli really enjoyed a cup of soup and a scotch egg eating in, some relish ready meals to take away and a lovely flat which coffee enjoyed on a cold windy day ☺️

Had dinner here at least 5 times now over past two years and it’s become the place I take friends to if they’re coming to stay and I want to impress them. Tasting menu is a must with wine pairing.

I'd heard good things about this restaurant - turns out they were all true. The food was inventive and absolutely delicious (we chose the pigs cheek starter, stone bass en paupiette main and the Guinness sticky toffee pudding and nettle cuajada desserts. Good choice of wines and the service was great. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Having moved up from London 2 years ago, it’s been a struggle to find top quality food in the area. I was pleased to read the recent review of Mustard in the Yorkshire Post, so we thought we would try this for my birthday last night. We were not disappointed.? The food is top-quality,; there is a good choice. The flavours are incredible and the presentation is first class. We left a £30 deposit on our bill for two adults and one child was an additional £94. Good value.?️ The service was very friendly, although I would say the waitresses did not know the menu well enough. For example, they did not know what some of the dishes were/ingredients. It’s very cosy inside ( maybe 8 small tables) … and I think the space would benefit from a few large plants just to break up the corners. We sat by the large window entrance. For example, the front window area has a large ‘dead’ space behind cellotaped menus. Get it covered up with a beautiful plant to add a simple bit of character.?? We try to encourage our 11-year-old to eat good quality food, yet the menu is very limiting for children, but you manage to the squash soup, fries, roasted vegetables and the banoffee desert. He did well. In some respects, it stops kids having fish fingers and chips everywhere one goes, so this is a good business choice. Perhaps offer small children dishes/portions?? I’d love to see this restaurant thrive, be super successful, as there’s hardly anything of this quality in the area. As such, it’s a five star from me in terms of service, food, an atmosphere. I wish the team every success. We will be coming back as a couple to try the 10-course menu!2nd review (June 2023) Came back with two friends after first visit 6 months ago. Arrived late slightly after 8pm and missed the taster menu; thankfully the maitre’D offered us the 5 taster menu £45pp We opted for wine taster too £35ppThe food is incredible. A little too fast to clear plates between each dish, but nothing to worry about. We opted for a bottle of wine and cheese board on top. X4 people with deposit, £350!It’s NOT cheap, but a great one off of you want to spoil yourself. You can order A la Carte.

Food was inventive and something totally different. Modern food with a lovely twist, very small intimate setting and doesn’t get the praise it deserves. Could do with some more social media pushes! Will be back 100%. Hidden gem in the area

A gastronomic hidden gem in Sowerby Bridge. Small and intimate with friendly service, but the food is the star! Would thoroughly recommend.

Our third visit to Mustard and the food and service were as excellent as the previous two occasions. The food is beautifully presented and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The wine list isn't massive but every wine we have had there has been great. Here's to many more amazing meals.

Pre-booked a table for Sunday Lunch on Easter Sunday.Shared starter: Guinea fowl and brioche. It was a tasty small bite between the two of us.Lamb Sunday Lunch was amazing....one of, if not the nicest roasts I've had. High quality food without being excessive.Shared dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding. Have to say, it was the best I've had, and I've had a lot.....perfect finish.Shared bottle of wine: Côtes du Rôhne. A very nice red to compliment the meal.
