A nice enough place, and I was served by a very attentive bartender which almost made me stay for an extra drink which is rare enough — I’m not sure if playing the television, and music at the same time is the best idea though lol

Having recently moved to the area and wanting to find a lively local we popped in here and were not disappointed. A splendid array of Lagers was available at the bar, and with the pub being open from early to late it was perfect for a day out relaxing. We had planned a walk, but decided to spend the day in here instead, especially as one of our friends took a liking to the bar staff who were very hospitable!

Friendly, locals bar. Seemed quite quiet when I went in during the week but an interesting mix of people on a Friday. Stayed open late but only had 1 cask ale.

A friendly little pub with very friendly customers just a shame the covid restrictions made it harder to socialize but having said that still very enjoyable will return when it reopens.

Prices very reasonable, prompt service, very friendly atmosphere &the locals make you feel welcome. Will definitely visit this establishment again when I am in Todmorden in the future.

During the present crisis the landlord increased his prices. Openly admitting that he had to make more money from people who were not his regulars. It will be remembered post pandemic. Unfortunately he’s not the only one, loyalty counts for nowt now. This was my go to pub when in Tod.
