Great quaint place. Been here several times. The food is excellent. A good selection of choice. A good family run pub. Lost a point on service because no follow-up on how was the food and male waiter forgot twice to re order our drinks. Ended up going to the bar myself but, don't let this minor blip put you off. Site Pizzeria

First visit to Site, and it certainly won't be the last! My wife and I came from Hebden Bridge this afternoon, and we couldn't have loved our pizzas more. Phenomenal wine choice as well at such reasonable prices. :)

The Glen View Inn

Lovely little traditional pub serving good food. There's quite a varied menu to choose from as well as a 'specials board'. The pub has a well stocked bar with a variety of beers, including some hand pulled guest beers too. It's only a small place, so it does get quite busy at peak times.Parking: There is a small car park at the side of the building, but only enough space for three or four cars. On street parking is available close by though.

The Pub

This is more a craft beer place. I got a pint of the only lager i could see on the board. It was busy. The ladies behind the bar were lovely and pretty as you would normally find in these places. Think theres a lot of regular visitors here. It was a nice visit

The Shepherd's Rest Inn

Enjoyed a fabulous Saturday teatime at The Shepards. The food as usual was excellent & so was the service. The team go above & beyond to ensure your satisfaction & comfort.Keep up the good work and we’ll keep on coming back for more. Well done to Nicola & Co. ??????

1st time in Todmorden, 1st pub we tried... wish we had stayed longer. Had a chat with the lovely landlady - Sue. Would like to go back for sure, when the weather improves ? beer garden

The Alehouse

Well kept ale. A friendly small bar, a good addition to Todmorden. Edit June 2023... Still a fantastic bar in Todmorden. Loads of out door space for summer drinks, in the sun has the vibe of a continental bar. In the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2023.

Waggon & Horses

Visited mid week with friends. The bar was empty except for one local sitting by the fire. More locals arrived while we were there. The barmaid was very friendly. We all ordered the steak and ale pie with shortcrust pastry, £14.95. It arrived in its own bowl with puff pastry. There were skin on chips and big bowl of mushy peas. Two huge jugs of gravy arrived. I informed the barmaid about the pastry being different to the menu and she informed me that she didn’t know the difference. Obviously the chef doesn’t either! But, the food was delicious. The meat was well cooked, and the portions were good. There were clean plates all round. I would recommend this pub.

Three Wise Monkeys

Visited on a Saturday night just before Christmas when visiting family in the area,had a drink downstairs in the bar first,lovely cosy little place.Then upstairs to the restaurant also small like downstairs,fab menu and good vegan choices too,this place is nothing fancy,but it’s small and cosy and the staff are friendly.The food was delicious we had starters and main courses,the portion sizes are good,my only complaint was the waitress took away our starter’s when one of my party was still eating and then they brought out our main courses and she was still eating her soup which wasn’t good really and also some light music in the background would of been nice but that’s just my opinion.Will visit when in Todmorden again as the food was good and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian & Vegan choices.

The Vedas

Food is always delicious and it's a great place to take someone who has serious food allergies. The staff are knowledgeable and the kitchen is prepared to use chickpea flour for certain dishes.

Wellington Inn

A nice enough place, and I was served by a very attentive bartender which almost made me stay for an extra drink which is rare enough — I’m not sure if playing the television, and music at the same time is the best idea though lol

Bombay Lounge

If it were not for the fact that I live 85 miles away from this restaurant, I would be there on a very regular basis. Amazing food, full of great flavours, a beautifully decorated dining area and really lovely staff, conspire to make this a real delight. Not only that, but the prices are excellent too. Highly recommended.

Spicy Bites

Food very nice however I ordered 2x Donner meat and chips 1 large 1 regular and both portions were the same (small) also ordered a chicken kebab on naan which was also very nice but the portion was tiny ! still hungry and shouldn't be having spent £25

Pakistan Hot & Fast Food Takeaway

I was one of their very first customers when they opened around 1991 and for many years regularly enjoyed their meals at least once a week. Having since moved out of the area I was there last week so called in again. The meal was as good as ever and I asked the friendly guy was it still the original owners. To my surprise yes the same family. Is the guy who used to serve me still alive? Oh! my grandad yes and described him he's retired now but still active. Thought I'd test him does his son still support the same football team (as I do), yes again Newcastle United. What a great family business. I had many a chat with the original lads and plenty of banter over 30 years ago and it appears its not changed. The shop has now updated but service and food still excellent. Keith
