I would give zero stars if possible. In today with only 3 check outs open with queues on all of them.Reluctantly used self check-out and required assistance. Only 2 staff manning all 3 self check-out area's, waited waited and waited. So in the end left the trolley and walked out.More staff on tills, less on security duty for self scan, checking trolleys etc required.Very poor show

We came here because it's called a 'Superstore'. In reality the shelves were half empty and the staff looked stressed.Just one person was in charge of all the huge self-checkout area and was very vocal about how annoyed she was.

Filthy. Most of the trolleys had rubbish in. Place clearly wasn't filled or faced overnight. We visited lunchtime Sunday. Huge swathes of empty shelves across the store. Home shopping staff racing their basket trolleys around like lunatics. Rubbish and various items dumped all around the store. From a retail perspective ranging seems to be ple ty short of what the store was designed for. Bays of random product pocketed here, there and everywhere. Nobody seems to care anymore, this used to be such a well presented store. To top things off, a blocked fire exit, on top of the dangerously loaded overstock all around the store. If this is indicative of the state of Asda with their new leadership, then it is doomed, and if this is a local issue, with poor leadership I would suggest regional management take decisive action. Awful presentation, terrible availability, and unsafe to top it off.Best part was hearing 3 of the staff on the chilled section discussing the absolute state the nightcrew had left the staff toilets in, one in particular questioning "what on earth do they do in there". I would hope that is pretty obvious!

I shop every week here but am going to change because there doesn’t seem to be any stock rotation for the last two weeks I have been and the dates are a day or two so I have gone to back of the shelve and the ones at the back have been out of date than last week I did scan my own I got 10 yogurts for 4.50 when I got to the checkout the lady had to do a quantity check which her machine stopped working so she had to put everything through again which was a full shop and when I got home she had only put me through 9 yogurts instead of 10 so I ended up paying over 3.00 more for

Supermarket with products you need. Good reduced section at certain times of the day when shopping on a budget.

The toilets are an absolute disgrace! I have a 3 year old who quite often needs to go to the toilet when we are store and I absolutely hate taking him, everything is filthy and the smaller sink that's meant for children puts out hot water! Really needs sorting!

If I could rate it 0 I would. I am totally and utterly disgusted with ur staffs behaviour. I wanted to buy some stuff but the staff pushed us away and told us to get out so we went to get a drink and they said stop lingering and just go out so in the end we couldn't buy anything and it was a wasted trip. Next time I'm going to Aldi. I could've made your workers retire today but instead the witch looking lady(you know who I am talking about) kicked us out.

Awful experience today I went in grabbed a basket and the security guard started laughing at me. Then I went to buy 3 different games and only one was in stock which I thought and the lady didn't put the disc inside. But the customer service lady wad helpful and gave me a refund.

It’s less than five degrees outside and it’s much colder in the store. On the bakery aisle you can feel the draft from the cool air that’s been blown out. I appreciate food needs to be cool, but it’s unbearable. Will stick with Barnsley Asda

I love Asda. Has always been my favourite supermarket, and I will travel out of my way to go here rather than somewhere else. However, over the last 18 months or so, staffing seems to have become an issue. Little or no staff in the George clothing section, which is a problem when you need assistance. Also why is there 10-15 isles of women and children’s clothes, and about 2 for men? Do men not need to wear clothes? My main problem now though is with the self service checkouts. You expect us to process and checkout ourselves, but yet there is never anyone available when something goes wrong? The other day I counted 11 red lights on, and 1 (yes, one) staff member. I’m sorry but this is not good enough. If you want us to checkout ourselves, then at the very least provide us with the support we need. After all, you’ve saved a fortune in staff since self service units were installed. Even the staff member who did eventually come said she was so stressed as there was only her on helping customers. If you value your customers and/or staff, then do something about this quickly, or you are likely to loose both. People will only have patience for for this sort of thing for so long. Your prices have gone up, but your customer care has dwindled.
