Wonderful friendly atmosphere with really interesting flavours and experiences. A really interesting 'guide' to the flavours and context about the different meals was a lovely touch.

Great value for money for a night out; the variety of spices, pulses and other component parts wouldn't be something you'd typically make at home or find anywhere else.

Its not every day you'll find okra and teff wraps; spend a little to explore the world!

Christmas Dinner was awesome. Starter, main and dessert for only £12.49

I had the veggie option with tasty, deep fried camembert to start with, followed by a mouth watering parsnip rosti with all the trimmings and finished off with a naughty raspberry and white chocolate meringue. Portion sizes were perfect and I even had room for a beer when I finished.

My significant other had a juicy prawn cocktail, roast turkey with all the trimmings and meringue to finish.

The reserved table was nicely laid and the service was warm and cordial.

Can't recommend the experience highly enough. Well worth every penny and equally we'll deserved 5 stars.

Didn't catch her name but about a month back i stumbled over at 6:30 having stayed in the Travelodge over night in desperate need of a proper coffee and whichever lady had just come on shift made me the best cappuccino I've ever had. Rich smooth and creamy without any burnt tastes or bitterness. I can't say I drink a lot of Costa, just tends to be white I'm travelling, but I've had some terrible cups made before and this was just the thing I needed first thing in the morning

We ate in here this time as every time we order for delivery things are missing or it's cold and soggy.
The chips seem to be going really downhill, although they were warm for once they were still brown and scabby..
Everything else was nice though for a change and everything I ordered came to my table. Dips and all.
So why are they not sent on my delivery orders?? (It's not this one where my delivery orders come from as it won't let me select this one, although I would if i could).
The amount of times I write in the comments to PLEASE PUT IN MY DIPS. For it to go completely ignored..
I mean I order dips because I enjoy my meal more with them so when they don't come and I've no sweet and sour for my nugs that's my tea ruined!
The bloke who brought my tray to me was very nice though can't fault him.
It was quite busy though, so a bit cramped in the doorway when trying to order food on them machines, and also trying to leave the building once we had finished.

There are other similar cafe's close by,but we've never had a poor experience so always head back . The menu is as would expect chicken burger, chicken piece meals and pizzas. I experienced chicken parmisan for the first time a few years ago there. In your late 40s it's great to find something that good in your local chicken cafe that is new.

I visited this pub on a midweek night a couple of weeks ago. I chose a pint of Sunbeam - moonlit night, which was bang on form!! ? There were many locals in drinking and chatting and the barman was really welcoming. I parked on the pub carpark, but that might be a challenge at busy times. I'd visit again if I was in the area, without a doubt!!

Horse & Jockey

This place we visited last Sunday. We were told every Sunday through the summer, this pub has live music (4pm) and a Spud Van (possible external catering) sat outside while you bask in the sunshine in the beer garden.
The food served here was that nice. I actually went for seconds, I tried the chicken tikka, and the chicken curry loaded fries (See Photos)
This place has a sports area with a pool table in, a separate room if you prefer a quieter environment and a very big beer garden with a stage for those that prefer that entertainment.
It's clean and plenty of spaces to take a pew. Child and Dog friendly there were plenty of families and dog walkers here, so if you're out for a walk and passing by over the weekend and the sun is shining, I'd recommend popping in here for a Pitt stop.

Just a proper pub with friendly staff, good local ales and great home cooked food, if you order food it might take a while as its made and cooked to order. Sunday lunch is great and the range of puddings, home made, is terrific.Very dog friendly and really good at looking after the older members of the family.

Absolutely the best kebab myself and me dad have had in a long time, we travel all over the UK and naturally we’ve tried a fair few pizza/kebab shops in our time.

but this one takes the biscuit, the kebab quality and portion size was fantastic! and the price is well below what you’d expect to be paying for a takeaway nowadays.

special mention to the chilli sauce, it is a must try, all the sauce is made in house and is extremely morish. mixing sweetness and minty flavours with a touch of spice was just beautiful ?

and i have to say an extra thank you for the extra sauce we got sent home with after asking about it’s origin. it’s truly appreciated :)

Friendly staff. Nice selection of hot foods and cold sandwiches to choose from. Also had pasties, sausage rolls, pork pies and cakes. Settled for baked potato with cheese, beans and salad which was a decent portion for the price.

I really can't complain. The food's pretty good, the staff are amazing... it's one of the smallest Gregg's in the country probably. You can't even sit down nowadays because they've covered the chairs up; it's takeout or nothing. Still, I'd recommend it.

I was visiting Wakefield and came across Luis Bar on Google maps. I rocked up outside and very nearly didn't go in, it's on a kind of rough looking side street, but I am very glad I did because the external appearance was deceptive. A fantastic gem of a place, with a nice atmosphere, decent beer, and friendly staff. Well worth a visit! Cask beers were about £4.20 / pint

I love this place. Food is great always and service with a smile. A real good fish and chips place with various dietary options also available. Huge menu of various foods available also, not just fish and chips. Hard to find a place with consistency but Annie's does it somehow.
The only thing wrong with the place is the fact you can't sit and eat your food. Parking on roadside but steps to get inside.
