The service was excellent, also the food. It was a later Sunday lunch 2pm and although relatively quiet a very good atmosphere.

Friday lunchtime meal with friends - the food was excellent (we had 3 x pasta dishes and 1 x Calzone between us) and each was superb.Highly recommended

Fabulous meal this evening. Best steak I have had in a very long time. Great seafood salad. This place was buzzing at 7pm on a Thursday evening. And deservedly so. Great atmosphere, good staff and wonderful food.

Visited with friends in couples .. table wasn’t ready on time so had to wait upstairs in the bar area..we were shown to our table which was two small round tables pushed together ..for 8 of us was quite small and felt like we were on top of each other .. the service was good and staff were nice .. but felt the food was average …we wanted to order desserts but ones we all wanted had run out .. never been to an Italian restaurant that runs out of tiramisu or cheesecake before .. quite disappointed…do we paid the bill and left .,would we go again .. quite probably as it’s our friends favourite restaurant.

Poor experience. Of note, the food from the set menu (early bird) was just fine, distinctly average. My partner ordered from the specials board which, looking now, is grossly over priced. 20 pounds for a salmon ‘special’- there was barely any salmon and the taste did not reflect the price charged. Even the soft drinks option was disappointing, served out of a 2L bottle which was flat. I would quite happily have raised these points if I was asked throughout if everything was ok, but I wasn’t asked once. Quick in and out, and that’s exactly how the staff wanted it. No thought for customer service. Won’t be returning.

There were four of us and a two year old for dinner at 18:00 on Saturday evening. The restaurant was already quite busy and during our meal got busier but despite this all of the staff were friendly, attentive and made a fuss. The food including the child’s pizza was excellent. Several of us had items off the specials board all cooked as we requested. If you’re in the area I would thoroughly recommend Bella Roma.

We have eaten here twice in the last 4 weeks Once with family from Ireland who had not been before and they loved it so much so they want to go again on their next trip And yesterday with our family who have been many times ! The food is fantastic and your always made to feel special,My son was looking forward to a stater that he had last time but it was not on the menu! Not a problem it was made for him.can’t wait for our next visit
My mother, sister and I visit this place in special occasions. The staff are lovely, helpful and professional. The manager is always polite and happy to see you. The food is delicious and consistent and beats all the Italian restaurants in Wakefield. Keep up the good work. :)

Food good quality & not excessively expensive. Good range of fish (although Halibut sold out by the time we arrived at 12.10?) and my wife enjoyed her Seabass pasta. I had a pizza, hot, which was very tasty.

I went with my colleagues for Christmas menu today. Food was delicious, service was good and staff were friendly. I will definitely go back there.

Visited Yesterday for a catch up with old friends. I sat with my coat on throughout as the restaurant was too cold for comfort. Also as the designated Driver I was on soft drinks and think the cola was off
