“None of the three of us had tasted Eritrean food before and so we sought advice from the owner who couldn’t have been more helpful. We opted for a variety of small dishes to share so we could all try the individual new tastes. Everything was delicious, and tasted fresh and aromatic. We were intrigued by the Teff bread which had a rather delicious sour tang to it. Only one other table was occupied (nearly closing time on a Wednesday evening), but the restaurant was light and airy with a beautiful display of colour. And a treat for me, as the coeliac in our group, to go somewhere where the whole menu (with one very small exception) was gluten-free. I took advantage and tried everything! Highly recommend.”
