Sampled Sunday lunch both in the restaurant and at home recently and it’s superb. Service in the restaurant is first class, friendly and very helpful. Food delivery is super efficient, easy to prepare and absolutely delicious.

We all had an excellent meal here, the food is superb, tasty and cooked to perfection. Belly pork was delightful, the soup was excellent and the cheese was just divine along with the malt loaf. I would highly recommend this place, great serving staff, polite and courteous, good food and an enjoyable atmosphere. ?

First visit to this Restaurant, Impressive interior, very laid back. Greeted by friendly smiling staff, seated near bar, Drinks ordered, menus perused, settled for confit duck, scotch egg for starters, chicken and roast beef for mains. All dishes were delicious. roast beef and chicken cooked to perfection, seasonal veg, wow. All staff were friendly, even bagged up leftovers for the dogs. Overall superb food, friendly staff. Huge prtions we will return
Iris is the only french type restaurant in Wakefield. It makes a great change from other many Italian/tapas/curry options. The food is great and three courses leave you nicely full. Very good value for money. Service and wines are excellent. Menus use local seasonal produce. Perhaps more choices for vegetarians?

The food is always consistently good and the staff that work there are lovely and friendly.However we feel they there are a couple of too many tables crammed in recently and also it’s looking a bit tired, a bit grubby and in need of a good clean and re-paint.We do love the food there but it is a bit spoilt by this.
