I moved from the Ardsley area to 70 miles away and have spent my life travelling around the UK with work. I still ensure I take every opportunity to get my fish n chips from PJ’s if I am within in a 10 mile radius. I consider this to be one of a 3 places I consider to be reliably excellent.

I have been using this chippy for thirty years and visited yesterday when checking in with my elderly mum in Ardsley. The blonde lady at the counter was delightful , although the lady in the headscarf that appeared from the back was not so friendly, will leave it at that. However the fish and chips were just awful ( never happened at this establishment before for me) . My mum thought exactly the same. Hardly any batter covering on the fish and the fish was also very dry and over cooked, indeed it had all the hallmarks of being warmed up! Won’t stop going but hope this isn’t a sign of things to come
