My experience at pound bakery today was out of this world. The most scrumptious pigs in blankets I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating, for only ONE POUND! I’m blown away by the friendly staff (in particular Emily Guest) and their exceptional conversation skills. I plan to return to Pound Bakery Wakefield on several occasions, to get good grub at an even better price.

I used to go here a couple of times a week when I worked in trinity shopping centre so was surprised when I went recently to see the price increases but I bought a sreak bake anyway, but was seriously disappointed as it only contained gravy! No meat whatsoever! Definitely wouldn't waste my money again and gone back to greggs!

Excellent and very well-run branch. Friendly employees who are clearly skilled, careful and experienced with oven timings, pasties and other hot food are very consistent - I can't think of a time I've ever had a burnt or undercooked pasty from them. Honest food served well.
