We went on Saturday 6th January a gentleman called Matt was the greeter. We weren't greeted. We went to the bar and there was no staff member to serve us we waited some time then Matt decided to come and serve us. Still no pleasantries we were a nuisance to him because he had to move. Been here several times before and it's been okay it wasn't on Saturday and we won't be going back anytime soon. I could have gone to local Greggs and been made to feel more welcome. If he doesn't like people or his job it's time for a change

The food is really good here and the waitress was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here.

Absolutely terrible. Just went here for food and paid nearly £12 for smothered chicken with mash and salad and was given a plate with a piece of chicken and a teaspoon of mash. When I complained they took the plate and said they’d told the chef. Told the chef what. Definitely won’t be eating in this cold place again. Disgusting which I’d of taken photos of it but was shocked they even had a gore to serve it.

First time eating out for Christmas lunch, thoroughly enjoyed it! Staff were very pleasant, although very busy didn't have to wait during courses.

The evening menu is very limited and a bit bland to be honest. 3/4 of our party did not enjoy their meal and found it over priced for what it was. The buffet breakfast menu offers a good choice of options. Sadly however, the scrambled eggs were riddled with pieces of shell. The staff are busy but polite and as attentive as they can be. The atmosphere within the bar in the evening is lively and fun, the breakfast service is generally filled with families which makes for a lively and often funny service. All said and done it serves a purpose if you're staying at the hotel.Wheelchair accessibility: Two sets of double doors, that open outwards! I cannot recall if there is an access button that opens the doors, you might need a second person to open the doors.

We had a 33% off coupon so were impressed with the price we paid initially but after eating that changed! Food wasn't great, some bits were cold, the festive stack burger wasn't a good combination. The staff were friendly enough and I so wanted it to be great but it was just ok. I wont be going back any time soon.

Staff are lovely and you get value for money with 1 adult breakfast at £10 and getting 2 kids free for unlimited breakfast. I take my children every term holiday as a treat and they love the buffet breakfast and being able to get their own food.

Booked for the festive Xmas dinner on boxing day 2023 with 19 family members. We all had an amazing evening due to the excellent festive carvery, efficient, cheerful, professional staff, and the team running like clockwork proving all of us with a great family evening. We all will be back next year so thanks again to all the rhubarb team and all the best for 2024.

Our recent trip to Rhubarb Triangle was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was brilliant, the food was incredible and Chloe, Jo and the rest of the team delivered an excellent experience for us and our volunteers! They were able to accommodate our party of 20 in every way possible. All dishes came out as a collective and all of our volunteers were able to eat together. We will 110% be returning next year for our Christmas celebration as this was an experience that left all of the paid staff and volunteers leave with a big smile on their faces. Great service Rhubarb Triangle!!

We were served primarily by Nick, mullet style hair. Extremely friendly, held a conversation and managed to efficiently serve me at the same time. I walked in and it was very busy but I wasn’t rushed when taking my order. Later on in the evening he continued to speak but also paid attention to his bar. 10/10 service.

We were a group of ten, looked after by Trish. Trish is a fabulous maitre d'.... She's warm, welcoming and super organised. The breakfast deal is incredible value for money and was cooked exactly to each person's requests. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and obviously we'll be back there again.....
