I would give less than one star if I could. I ordered our food sat with my 14 month old daughter at a table and patiently waited, 50 minutes later was told my food was sold out and did I want a refund. I waited a another 15 minutes for my daughters food, then I had to queue for my refund, which can take up to 5 days. This is the most disorganised cafe I have ever been to. I will never eat there again. Please don’t disappoint yourself

This was the 2nd weekend in a row that we came to this cafe and first time was that there was no kitchen staff so nothing was available on the menu apart from all day breakfast and the fizzy drinks machine needed changing which they knew about but carried on serving and it was just awful. This weekend we went thinking it would be better…we waited 45 minutes for a bowl of soup which looked awful splatters all over the bowl looks like from a microwave, my partners chips were awful barely cooked and then the lady said there wasn’t any sausages for the all day break fast all while we were trying to eat our dinner the lady started shoving chairs about the place making such a noise. Honestly never been in such a place. £16 down the drain too.

Not been in a sainsbury's cafe for long time as a lot closed. So pleased to see wakefield one still there. Ordered coffee tea and chips with gravy. Just for a snack. Very quickly delivered to table. My word.....about 10 small chips for £2 + 59p for gravy jug. Called a girl over and said the portion was ridiculously small. She got manager who said it was 2 scoops! Apologised and said would bring more. Did so and twice as many as 1st portion. I know times have changed buy there is a limit you can accept for your money. One good thing, the gravy was beautiful. Mite not bother again.

Ordered two cappuccino’s they were virtually all milk could barely taste coffee, took them back to the counter, the young chap who served me simply shrugged his shoulders with no offer to try and address the issue. Poor show, need to train staff how to handle customer dissatisfaction, this was the Wakefield store on a quite afternoon with virtually no one in the cafe so hardly under pressure to deal with the matter.

Inedible chips. They had a disgusting taste and were mushy. Not nice at all. The ham and eggs weren't too bad. £6 for that? Definitely not worth it.

Terrible recent visit on Sunday 19th March. Mumbling, vacant eyed server, disgracefully dirty cutlery which I asked twice to be cleaned to no avail.I ordered the all day breakfast. The first plate that came had bacon that a good vet could have resurrected and a fried egg so rubbery I could have bounced it off the floor. The replacement came with burnt toast (wholemeal, I asked for white) and bacon so well done it actually shattered. This time however the 'chef' had managed to fry an egg.....I asked and received my money back.Recognition must go to the lovely staff member who apologized and explained the lack of leadership and training in the place which was hugely evident. A shambles.

Poor choice of food, overpriced , and 9 times out of 10 they don't have half the food you want, I'm sorry but how does a supermarket cafe run out of sausages, or any meat, when there's a butchers on site.

I asked for sausage, egg & mushroom bap they had run out of sausage. Then they gave me white toast when I asked for multi seeded then they had no sweetners and no brown sauce was not very impressed considering it's part of a supermarket.

What a shame, this place was ok before big coorperatons decided to cut staff numbers to 1/2 of what they need to be. Visited today, lined up with 15 or so other customers. Menu there for all to see, with the main offering being a turkey dinner for adults and kids. Got to the counter, tried to order said turkey dinner to be told we don't have any...... Which left me fumbling around ordering 4 random meals as I had already queued for 15 minutes. It wouldn't have taken much to stick a sign at the beginning of the queue stating that turkey dinners were not available ..Food that arrived after 30 minutes mediocre at best. Rubbery egg, overcooked sausages and soggy hash brown. ?.I think all of the problems I experienced today we're purely down to the greed of Sainsbury's cutting down on staff wages. It's the only explanation. Shame on you!

Food took 40 mins to be brought out. Jacket potato was cold and pizza borderline burnt. They had no sandwiches left (this is inside a supermarket!) and there was no cutlery or napkins. Toilet was disgusting - standing urine in one of the urinals and several patches on the floor. Avoid.

Met up with friends and decided to have a bite to eat. The queue was a mile long and while we were queuing people were taking food back complaining. We just decided to order something simple and drink. Think int we couldn’t go wrong with that. I ordered cheese toastie and a latte. It cost me twice as much I’d expected and the toastie was vile. Cold in the middle. People on the other table were complaining about their food being cold and not cooked properly. Staff were just in a daze about who was doing what! No one knew what was happening with peoples orders. Some people received a full refund due to inedible food. Certainly won’t be going again.

Decided to nip in for a light bite while out shopping but unfortunately there is no gluten free sandwich options, only jacket potato or chips but can't guarantee no contamination. Luckily I'm only intolerant so Decided to just have some chips and a drink, my aunt ordered a jacket potatoe with salad. Both were disappointing, the chips were anaemic and barely cooked, the jacket potato was dry with a few green leaves on side. For a big chain you would think they could stretch to a couple of gf sandwich options.

Poor service. You go to the counter with drinks and a sandwich and they just stare at you. When I asked the lady if she could toast the ham and cheese toastie she looked annoyed with me. Strange place.
