Really disappointed gone down hill big style ordered 2 chicken burgers both came and were rock hard complained lady came over wasn't interested but she did replace them but came back on same plate missing hash browns and salt and pepper fries was off to complain again but chap behind me started to complain too so sad as use to be nice food only plus side nice bar staff only reason got 1 star and a 45 min wait for terrible food and never came back to see if ok with form to leave reviews surprisingly not

It was absolutely amazing the egg yoke was runny and the bacon was super crispy overall it was amazing.

We used to go regularly, a trip around a year ago was disappointing so haven’t been for a while. Decided to try again, booked a table on the app, and took my 7 year old, my eldest son and his partner for lunch. Went into the soft play area to eat. £5.50 to play. The equipment is worn and needs updating, the soft play area as a whole was just ok. The staff only two of them were lovely throughout. They could have done with another pair of hands to help. No soya milk, no napkins- even though you could see they were being cleaned the tables were sticky. The whole place needs freshening up, it just looked well worn and a bit mucky. Food was just ok, tad cold fries really dry. 1 small breast cut into two with BBQ sauce and a bit of melted cheese- the chicken New Yorker. Kids menu had some unusual choices, with no chips for some of the larger portions included? Glad the burgers were BOGOF, as not worth the full price. Sadly won’t return unless it gets an overhaul. Shame as a really lovely spot.

We went here for a boxing day meal altogether there was a party of 10 of us. The 1st 2 courses were correct and quite quick. The food was good. We waited ages for the dessert and eventually had to ask for it and we had to ask for the bill. One of the party didn't get his ice cream but got Christmas pudding instead!! My grandson who has a dairy allergy wanted crumble and vegan ice cream but they brought out custard and crumble!! Which incidentally happened earlier on this year with his vegan Ice cream. They brought normal!! The bill came and the lady said we have deducted the deposit, but when we checked the receipt they hadn't deducted it at all! Could have been a very expensive meal if we hadn't noticed.

Good service. Good was so fresh and hot. We also had an issue with one of the meals which come out incorrect but this was quickly taken back and rectified and was still fresh.

Been coming to stanley ferry for years for every occasion, always good deals on , kids meals are cheap and quality of foods is really good , food always arrives within 20/30mins which is a reasonable time .
