Sat there for 50 min and starters did not arrive. Asked a lady how long they would be, she said she would find out and come back. She never did. Asked her again and she was ages coming back, awful service. The family at the next table ordered in front of us, they ate and left before our starters had arrived.

Our monthly visit and welcomed by the lovely Wendy and a young lady with blue streaks in her hair who attended to us quickly and efficiently when bringing our meals. The meals were delicious very filling but there’s always room left for desserts of course ?Pleasant farewells and acknowledgments from josh and other bar staff.

We booked a table here on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. The menu was that bad we ended up not ordering any food, after having a pint of 2 pints Guinness (£11!) we took a walk to the Rinaldis restaurant.I previously rated this pub 2 stars, we thought that we’d give it another try. That’s the last time we’ll consider eating there…

Came here today for a quiet lunch as in the area. Had the carvery which was very nice. Beef was very tender and all the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Wendy looked after us, an excellent host made sure we were well looked after. Will be visiting again soon…

My table was not booked at the restaurant I had to show my booking reference, we waited nearly 2 hours for our food and when mine arrived it was stone cold, waitress took the plate away and returned and told me they had put new fries on and microwaved the chicken burger which was now rock hard so couldn’t eat it. The meal was refunded but it ruined our day out as had travelled over 2 hrs to go there
