It is an absolutely fabulous, spotless, clean, and professionally run pub. A true credit to the team. Thanks for a lovely Sunday afternoon.

More expensive than other places in town. Had to move to the lower bar after being ignored for 5 mins despite staff pulling pints in front me and no sign saying they didn't serve in that

Decent range of beers and nice staff. It can get a bit loud inside sometimes, but there's a beer garden.

One of the best Pubs on Westgate, with a massive selection of drinks. Always been made to feel very welcome from the Staff. This Pub has a lot to offer for every type of visitor if your looking for a night with good live music it is here or if you want a to chill on your own the Pubs large patio gives you that option too. Keep up the good work Black Horse!!

Well I feel the need to write this review as my family and myself came to your Xmas brunch yesterday afternoon and it was a massive disappointment. No baguettes left? So couldn’t have those. My sister had no food as there wasn’t anything else she fancied. When my food came I couldn’t believe what I’d been given. Dried up fries and cold, tasteless chicken. I wouldn’t give it to the dog! It was just like left overs from a party the night before ? Had to ask constantly for drinks which were not proper measures. Didn’t eat our food. To say too it was £29.99 per person was a joke! Never go again not even for a drink. Shocking and a complete rip off!No Christmas atmosphere either like background music.

Had a lovely late brunch last night, the food was great and the drinks were flowing with a great choice. Jess worked her socks off looking after everyone and keeping us entertained with a smile. Great atmosphere and

Must have been an off night when we went for bottomless brunch. Food over cooked and hard and service non existent. We had to go and pay at the bar for drinks. I've been to alot of bottomless brunches and this was the worst. Never

We booked the Christmas bottomless brunch for 4 of us and can honestly say it was the worst brunch we have ever done! We received a bottle of processco to start which was a nice touch but after that it just went down hill. Half of the food menu wasn’t available which was frustrating, the drinks were very weak - gin with lemonade was just like lemonade. We only had 4 rounds of drinks which we had to ask every time and the 4th round was because we complained. The food when it came was horrendous, the festive pizza was like chewing toffee, and the loaded fries didn’t taste of anything I reckon my 5 year old could have made a better meal. It was such a shame as it has a lot of potential to host a really nice Xmas party. It was like sitting in my grans back room there was no music and everyone was just waiting for drinks. Really felt for the staff who obviously tried their best. Someone is obviously charging much more than what is being offered and leaving the staff to deal with the back lash. Safe to say we won’t ever be brunching there again!

Went here last night with a few friends to celebrate a birthday for the Christmas bottomless brunch. Our host Jessie was so welcoming & attentive. The food on offer was delicious cooked by their chef Sue. We were given pigs in blankets to share and had the pizza and loaded fries for our main. They also provided mince pies after the meal which was a lovely touch but we were all so full! We never seemed to have empty glasses as Donnie and Amy were on the ball with ensuring the drinks were flowing. Thank you to all of the staff for a lovely evening, we all agreed that we would return in the future for another brunch :)
