We have ordered from Harlees many times and the food is honestly amazing! Harlees is a chip shop perfect for its community! The staff provide an excellent service and are always polite and friendly. Considering all meals are cooked to order, even on their busiest nights, I've only ever recieved the best quality fish and chips! Menu items range from classic battered cod, haddock or plaice to chilli beef loaded chips and pineapple fritters! There are a few options for vegetarians as well! 5.30pm on a Tuesday. Just had a cheese burger and a chicken burger with portion of chips. Very disappointing. Burgers were just about luke warm, not freshly cooked, probably just heated up and chips again just warm and certainly not freshly fried to order. Not a pleasant meal at all. Such a shame as have used Harlees Amesbury in the past and it has been very good. What has gone wrong??
