“Good coffee, delicious cake. (From a baker that is a huge compliment) Very busy so service a tad slow. Would visit again.”

“This pub(and village)is well worth the 2 mile diversion off the Cotswold Way. Easy to get to, hopped a bus from White Hart stop, and so glad we did. The pub, the people, the Marshfield icecream in the shop across the street fabulous. Best full English breakfast enroute too.
Walkability: The town is lovely and quiet, and with two pubs we were surprised how peaceful it was .
Food and drinks: Excellent food, really really nice.”

“Fabulous Sunday roast. Celebrating a birthday with 8 of us in lovely bright side room but close to the bar to get atmosphere. Great value. Friendly and polite staff. Would recommend and will return. Thank you for the special memories.”

“BUT…..Whilst delicious, the Blue Cheese Toastie was utterly overpriced at £13.95 for the tiniest sandwich & handful of leaves you have ever seen. I honestly thought it was for a child’s in fact I asked for the menu again to check I hadn’t mis-ordered. Absolutely daylight robbery come on Forage, do better!!!”

“We had a great evening at the Lord Nelson pub. One Sunday evening, the lovely gentleman announced to us that he was no longer serving food but he took pity on us and nevertheless agreed to make us pizzas (even though he had just turned off the oven). Welcome to the best of the best! Very good pizzas, drinks too. Above all, we remembered the smile and the pleasant conversation we had with the owner of the place. Thank you again for this beautiful evening!”
