Visiting my son in Melksham and we came for breakfast as he has been a few times with his 2 labradors and highly recommended we go. Breakfast was brilliant and excellent staff service. Just had to be finished with cake, well I have never tasted such amazing
Once we received our food and drinks it was very nice. There were only three girls serving that I could see downstairs. We waited to order our food and drink for over 20 minutes. Ended up going to find someone and two women were talking behind the bar. The other woman cleaned one table and disappeared. Wasn't that busy inside but did start filling with customers as we were leaving. More staff please if possible.

The second visit here, and I was a little disappointed with the food this time. I chose the prawn sandwich. The bread seemed dry and stale. Which was a shame as last time it was delicious.The last visit, the place was very busy but had excellent food and the dining area was spotless. This time, it was quieter, but the dining area had food all over the floor.Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.
