Went in for fish and chips and a fish cakeAfter being stood for 25 minutes and having numerous people with large orders get their meals I asked where mine was to be told the fish cake takes a long time. It would have been better if they’d just told me that they had forgotten about me as I watched them then find my order and ask the fryer to put a fish cake inWon’t be going there again

Better fish than the seaside !We would definitely return.

Had takeaway - small cod + chips (light, crispy batter, not greasy + perfect amount of chips), went again + had a burger + chicken chunks. Food was excellent + good value, service - first rate, staff very friendly, atmosphere was great + place was spotless.

Don’t know about Fish and any other things but please don’t try their Shakes at all. We tried Chocolate and Vanilla Shake and they were pathetic.1. Quantity is nothing looking at £3.592. It was neither taste like Shake nor like milk.If someone is reading it please remove it from your menu if you can’t make it.

5 star just for the fries (chips) which are incredible. The pea puree is good and goes well with the fried fish. But the fish are too fatty. I've tried cod and haddock several times and it's good, yes, but too fatty.I tried a burger once, clearly not the place to go for that (but at the same time it's fish and chips). And their onion rings are good but again too greasy. It doesn't matter, despite that I keep going back just for the fries which are delicious!!! Very generous portions! The prices are low, the portions generous, the team is pleasant, the service fast.I only go there for the potatoes but I recommend 100%!

Very bad chips. For owners, if you want try real good chips, go to Boat House and order skin - on chips. Bellisimo!
Let us in just before closing and got eating just 5 ish mins after sitting down. Managed to wolf down the cod and chops in 10 mins and was a lovely experience. Totally recommended.

Had to come on and leave a review! Me and my 1 year old popped in for some lunch after swimming. We shared the fish cakes and chips - more than enough for the both of us! The fish cakes were the best I have ever had and the chips were really fresh and crispy. All the staff were really friendly (I didn’t catch names) and the restaurant was clean with plenty of space. Will definitely be coming back

A great place for fish and chips near the railway station in Bradford-on-Avon. Sit in or take away. We chose to sit in and chose the Senior Dish (even though we are in our thirties). The portions were ideal and not overfilling. Light batter and chunky chips with curry sauce/mushy peas. The service was very smooth, friendly and quick.Highly recommend!

I have been here quite a few times and the food has been excellent however the last two times the foods been dreadful, really hard unedible chips and the steak pie was very dry so sadly won't be visiting again.
