An absolute gem! Delicious food, attentive and charming staff and the cottage is stunning. The walk from the pub to Tisbury along the footpath is also a must if you’re staying.

Went to the restaurant for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy so making a booking was required. Food was excellent, service was very good and the staff were attentive. Location is challenging to get to with narrow roads, but worth it. Paving is uneven, and there are some steps if you have mobility issues.

Only eat in the bar, , a tad pricey for a pub but good quality

Brilliant home cooked food in a traditional, cosy old pub with log fires and friendly service. A bit off the beaten track, but perfect if that's what you like, come for a country walk before or after and it's ideal.
