We had our son’s birthday party in the soft play area- Alla was absolutely AMAZING! The kids had such a good time and enjoyed their scrummy meals! The parents appreciated their free refill drinks too. The party decor was great as well, we didn’t have to do anything- Alla sorted it for us and it was all party perfect! 5 stars all the way!

We went with the grandkids for a meal and soft play. The kids area was a bit chaotic with staff disappearing for long periods. But all in all nice. The kids meals are very nice. But adult portions way too small. Came out still hungry ?

Came to stay at the Premier Inn next door and thought let's try the restaurant on site, worst decision of the get away so far! When we were sat there, there was food all around the table and our cutlery was dirty. We had to wait 1 and a half hours for our mains and when we finally got our food it was cold and we was not the only table to send our food back for being cold! When i went up and asked how long my food will be got told we have new staff and they would go check for me and let us know, the staff member never returned!Wont be coming back!

Disappointing, eat here using the Premier Inn "meal deal".Understaffed, very busy, no table service so had to queue at the bar for 10 mins to order.Food was mediocre at best, everything looked as if it had been thrown at the plate. The "Festive Stack Burger" was overcooked, more charcoal than chargrilled. Throwing a bit of turkey, a halfed sausage and some cranberry sauce does not make this little combo anything other than not worth it.The chips were undercooked and aneamic. The good lady had gammon, egg and chips, this was equally as disappointing.Other diners were complaining, due to the stressed out staff we decided that this was simply not worth complaining.I have to stay in various Premier Inn's around the country for work, Premier Inn's are always consistently clean and comfortable, the attached pubs, Beefeater, Country Fayre etc are consistently mediocre at very best. This evening in contrats we eat in the Wetherspoons in the centre of Chippenham. had a burger and the katsu curry there paid less than the meal deal (£8 less) and it was infinitely better. So the positives, Brewers Fayre is next door to the Premier Inn, it is a big pub, but be prepared to be disappointed. We did ask two other diners how their food was on the way back to the Premier Inn and they mentioned that they had fish and chips and it was very good...... So maybe have the fish and chips......

Very tired place. It used to be clean years ago, and the food was reasonable for the price. Food is just about edible. I couldn't use the toilets as they smelt awful and were filthy.

Saturday evening was not particularly busy. There did seem to be a lack of staff.as the food didn't come together for a table of six. The banoffee cheesecake was completely tasteless and didn't have the chocolate flake. The brownie was cold and not warm as stated in the menu. The pie was good and so was the lasange.

We had a Sunday lunch today and really enjoyed the atmosphere.Food: The carvery was great and the choices in the kids menu were fantastic. It's perfect for a family gathering. Our kids went for two Rudolph Reindeer burgers with chips, corn and veggie sticks. The burgers were beautifully presented. However I marked down 2 stars because the burgers were overcooked and slightly burnt so our kids didnt eat the burgers. The puddings were generous in size.Service: the waitresses were friendly and helpful. But we took a star off because our pudding orders were forgotten and my husband had to ask the staff twice. Other tables were served before us (inspite of arriving and ordering after us) so by the time it got to our kids' santa hat desert (which was ice cream + strawberries) they ran out of strawberries so the kids were given a brownie with cream instead without asking us first. The waitor did help by swapping the cream with ice cream so the kids were happy in the end but this meant we had to wait a while for them to be remade.

Having booked a table for the Sundsy carvery we arrived to discover that all that was on offer was gammon and lukewarm vegetables. As the carvery is advertised to be available until 6PM and we were booked for 2.45 we were very annoyed. The place was dirty and the staff not overly helpful . Plus there were that many children running all over the place (not the staffs fault) totally unsupervised by their parents that made this my worst dining experience for many years. The place is an absolute disgrace.

We were thinking of booking for Christmas day here, but after tonight's visit we won't.The food, service and staff were lovely. We sat opposite the bar. Unfortunately there were a few families who allowed their children to climb and jump all over chairs and tables screaming and running about for the hour we were in there. Tripping other dinners up or almost knocking them off their feet. It was absolute chaos, the bar staff couldn't hear to take orders for the screaming at one stage. One table left without ordering!Parking: Parking is free and just outside of the restaurant

What a fantastic carvery. Everything was cooked to perfection. Not an ounce of fat on the beef and the turkey was delicious. My only fb to improve is gravy a bit thin! Friendly smiley team too. We will definitely return with our

The food was very poor. Overcooked sharing platters, dry pies, undercooked eggs and I think an asthmatic mouse must of been used to power the grill as my gammon steak was almost still oinking!!
