Some of us had the Carvery and some had the A La Carte, both were delicious as were the desserts. We are locals that often pop into our village pub and I have to say the staff and landlord are always welcoming and friendly. We took some family members that were visiting for-drinks and dinner. The food was excellent, good size portions to the point I had to take my dessert home. The following day we went for a lovely dog walk and decided to return to try the breakfast (Sunday) I had the American flatbread which was absolutely delicious. My husband said the coffee was excellent (he is fussy about his coffee) We would certainly recommend this pub for drinks or an evening out with family and friends

Wonderful lunch! My husband and I went for the first time on 11th February and had a starter, main course and dessert as well as wine. We really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is spacious, clean and convivial. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The menu was varied and the service was astounding! The two waiters that were there were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They were super efficient, attentive, had a great sense of humour and truly made us feel very special. We will definitely go back!Vegetarian options: As Pesco vegetarians, I opted for the crab and lobster ravioli which was delicious and my husband went for the sea bass. Both were exquisite.

Beautiful pub, we were seated in front of a roaring log fire which kept the room so warm on a cold February eve. Food was beautifully presented, lots of options to choose from on the menu. Only disappointment was that they had ran out of the cheesecake and we weren't notified of this when choosing our desserts. Lovely staff who were welcoming and friendly and a good choice of wines. Definitely a special occasion placed to dine as it isn't cheap, we also loved there was no music being played in the pub. Instead it was the crackle of the fire and people chatting in the background which made a lovely atmosphere.

Went for lunch with friends, we had a great time. The staff were friendly and working very hard. The menu is limited to maybe 5 items, but this didn’t bother us. Most of us had roast of the week, we had at least 7 different vegetables with all the trimmings of a roast dinner. But what was most surprising was the price, £7.50 for a delicious cooked lunch. Well done team Spero keep up the good work, we’ll definitely be back.

We often order from Chippenham Kebab and Pizza House so this review will be indicative of the last time that we ordered which was in October 2023. We ordered from their website which is east to navigate and simply categorizes the types of food on offer. While the menu is not extensive, there is still plenty to choose from in the way of kebabs, pizzas, burgers and chips. I went for the chicken wrap and cheesy chips this time and my wife decided to go for a make-your-own pizza and hot wings. Recently, they have taken the fried chicken option off their menu. Last time we had it the chicken wasn't that great so it may be because of a supply issue or one of cost. Anyway my wife went for the hot wings instead to give them a go. The chicken wrap is always delicious and is like nicely-spiced chicken breast tenders in a tortilla wrap. It may be too salty for some people's taste but not for mine. The cheesy chips are always great and they manage to get the melt just right while keeping some semblance of crispiness on the majority of the chips. My wife's pizza was tasty, cheesy and generously populated with toppings. And the hot wings were delicious. The outer coating was terrific and crispy and moreish. The chicken on the inside was really tasty and they are much better than wings we have had from other places. They are not that hot, which was fine for us, but if you're looking for something with a bit more heat you might have to either add some hot sauce or look elsewhere. The delivery time was as quick as ever. It arrived in under half an hour. This is mainly the case with Chippenham Kebab and Pizza House unless there is a sports tournament or something like that where they may be busy. It's certainly quicker than waiting for a driver from somewhere like KFC. All in all, another enjoyable meal and we will be eating from here again.

I know Subway has a bad name and their bread is full of sugar but I'm addicted to this one in Chippenham. Footlong Honey Oat Garlic Steak subs. No tomatoes (they're watery) and extra jalapenos. I love all the salad added to it. Not a huge fan of the cookies but the rainbow ones are good. The Chicken Teriyaki Legende (or whatever it's called) is delicious too. I'm guessing corporate stole the naming convention from Starbucks.Amelia always brightens my day up whenever I go in. She's cheerful, efficient and generous. I was told by a worker who is a friend that a new chef has arrived and I decided to order. Well it was amazing. Food was delicious and meat fell of the bone. Duck curry was amazing. We were briefly in the area for completely unconnected reasons, and the person we were visiting recommended The White Horse as a good place to have Sunday lunch before we headed back to Worcestershire. The pub is very popular but they managed to fit us in, and the food was delicious. Clearly it was cooked by a proper chef, and everything was perfect and made with quality ingredients. The White Horse beer I had was well kept too. Everyone received a friendly welcome, and there were lots of locals, some of whom were just popping in for a drink with the dog. Thoroughly recommend.

I have been here during a business trip. Local colleagues recommended to go there.The food and the drinks were very good and the atmosphere exactly how I imagined.I can really recommend this place to spend a nice evening with friends and/or colleagues.

Fantastic little micro pub serving a variety of 9 craft beers (including a lager), plus real ciders. Very dog friendly, and welcoming to all. Food isn’t served, although some rather addictive bar snacks are readily available and drinkers are welcome to purchase takeaway food and consume with a drink. (NB: Very stinky food may not be as welcome)!Kid-friendliness: Children are allowed, although parents should be mindful of the small space and proximity to other drinkers!

Had a fantastic meal. Excellent, attentive service, couldn't do enough to make our evening even more enjoyable. Great, friendly atmosphere. Nice to see somewhere that welcomed dogs too.

Been here and to the cafe several times over the past couple of years, for weekend breakfast/brunch/dinner, always with the wife and kids and the food is always delicious. I mean next-level awesome. Without doubt the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten in the U.K.. My wife said even the takeaway sandwich we got for the drive home was the best sarnie she ever had! Dank farrik! The vegan jackfruit burritos are sooooo good. It’s the coolest place. Shame they’re not in Bath
