We loved every minute of our 1 week stay in November. The Spa facilities are 7 Star & the therapists are some of the best I have ever encountered, particularly, Lauren. The Swimming Pool was perfectly heated n the right depth & size for family fun! The outdoor jacuzzi pool was magical! Food was gourmet with good healthy & vegetarian options. Aside from that, it is always the staff that make a hotel & I think the nicest people in the West Country work in Lucknam. We can’t wait to return!Walkability: Walking was brilliant, but even better, the hotel lends bikes for free & you can cycle around the glorious grounds & enjoy the horses in their stable.

This is what luxury should be. You could stay here for days and never leave the 500 acre property. The newly built spa is worth the visit alone.

I'm easily into double digit visits to Lucknam Park. The reason I return so frequently is everything is perfect. The food, the staff, and the location.

On approach the sheer size of the grounds is daunting - like from the front gate to the building is a good few minutes on a bicycle (yes they have guest bicycles which are fun to ride) through wooded fields with horses. Stunning views.Building itself is pretty impressive - you can tell it has history, and it does.We are welcomed by the porters who take our keys and park the car at the parking lot at the back, and then get checked in at the front desk just inside the front doors, and shown to our room - or should I say Grand Master Suite.Jaw droppingly stunning!!!The bathroom alone is about as big as a normal sized bedroom - am so jealous.Four poster king bed!And the views - oh, i could stare out either window all day.I cannot think of anything that was not thought of to make anyone feel like a king or queen in this palatial unit - really is fit for royalty. Now our suite was in the main building, and to get to the spa you walk across the courtyard out the back, which in itself is a beauty. Good size pool with a jacuzzi/hot tub outside bit. And on the other side of this building is the Brasserie which has the most amazing dishes - and very reasonably priced as well. But the best part of our stay was the warmth we felt from everyone - smiles were everywhere, no request was too great. It truly felt like being in a realm where everything was beautiful & perfect.Already looking forward to our next visit.

Out of this world. Stunning hotel in a stunning location. Staff went above and beyond to make us very welcome. Rooms are spectacular, children made very welcome. Food was exquisite. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I have arrived and was greated by Matilda and Portia. They were very accomdiating and answers and my questions with out hesitation. I haven't stayed at the premises but, I can assume with full confidence that that the experinace would be immaculate based of the staff that I talked to and my first impressions of the site.

Perfect weekend trip from London via Bath. Top notch service, beautiful rooms full of comfort details. Peaceful setting perfect to fly under the radar. Gorgeous gardens and land for quiet walks. Incredible Michelin dining and out of control wine menu. Loved the pre dinner cocktails in the drawing room. Brassierie service was slow and food not as in point on a Sunday when we were there so would suggest instead doing the afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.

We booked the restaurant for our wedding anniversary, I must say the service from when we arrived to when we left was poor, do not expect 5 star service, there is no one to greet you at the hotel reception, when we entered the dining room it was very robotic and rushed, the food in most cases was over cooked and tasteless. I would personally not come back here. Also not kid friendly.

Visited for a special celebratory occasion and sample their promotional 3 course Monday to Friday lunch offer which although the course options were limited to three the food was of the highest quality as was the level of service at the brasserie, they went that extra step to make the meal a memorable experience. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic resort. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the equestrian program is top notch. Dawn and Roberta were amazing… The food was phenomenal. Hywel Jones is not to be missed. The brasserie is also delicious. Nicole was so lovely and helpful. Tea service was wonderful. The spa and pool are not to be missed either! Normally I don’t like indoor pools but the design of this room is gorgeous. The resort truly has something for everyone. They even provide bikes and a park for children. This was the quintessential Cotswold experience and I hope to return soon. We stayed in a three bedroom cottage, Thrasher. It was adorable and they stocked it with the most delicious local snacks. The bedding was lovely and comfortable. My only comment to travelers would be to ask about rooms with windows. One of the bedrooms did not have a window but they helped to bring in a portable air device for me.
